Hi Eartha! I love watching your videos! ❤ I am aspiring to become an international student in BVC next year. You mentioned that BVC offers blended learning, may I ask if you get to choose when to avail the online classes? I mean, do you get to decide when you want to attend online or face-to-face? Also, do you know some Filipinos who managed to become scholars in BVC? I’m hoping to get scholarships there. Thank you so much and I really do hope to meet you there! You seem to be a very vibrant and kind person. I’m planning to go there by myself, and I do not know anybody there. 😅 So your vlogs are really helpful, thank you!

Hello Loraine! I appreciate your comment! Comments like yours make me motivated to create videos. Blended is a hybrid class where students were given flexibility to choose to come to campus or attend online. Scholarships are submitted online and as far as I know, kept anonymous. You can reach out to Learner success services to know more about the scholarships at Bow Valley College. Hope to see you in campus as well! Take care 😄

Hi Eartha, thank u again for providing such an amazing information. I want to let u know that I got accepted for winter 2023 intake, however I did not know it was a fast track program. Now I am not sure if move on or apply for SAIT (since they offer breaks for every intake). What do u think? Business admin looks difficult without having a break. Thanks again

Hello there! Congratulations for getting accepted! I am not familiar that there’s a fast track Business Administration program at Bow Valley College. I know people who were also winter intake but they still get the summer/spring break. I get your concern. You can always speak with the academic advisor about your concern should there be a fast track program. They can better assist you with your schedule. However, if you really feel like other colleges can provide you with more flexibility with schedule, that is also worth considering. Hope this helps!

@AlbEartha

Hello! I would say it depends but studying sa Bow Valley and I guess here in Alberta in general is so different compared sa Philippines. More on analysis, exams, case study and presentation. Walang bearing and recitation in class. Hope this helps!

How difficult is it to find part time jobs as international students?
@AlbEartha
@AlbEartha Жыл бұрын
Hi! I would say it depends. I am fortunate that for all the part time jobs I took, it did not take me a week before I am hired. If you are picky with the job, I would say you should expect at least 3-4 months wait before you land a job. Hope this helps
