Even before you said it, I had a feeling the time difference would be difficult. If you are still experiencing jet lag, it makes it even tougher. I have been to Barcelona, lovely city. A city I would recommend especially if you do a trip during winter is Nairobi. For remote work, there are several coworking spaces if that's what you prefer. But note that the time difference would be 8 hours.( For those in Europe, the time difference is 2 hours in winter, 1 hour in summer, I am in Paris so this is my reference). It is doable if you have more control of your schedule. For days when you do a safari, take the day(s) off. The parks are way outside the city, and you would be too tired anyway.

Yes! Solo traveler here! That's the reason I pivoted to tech. I was in Bali for a month last year and noticed a bunch of digital nomads living in paradise. I usually only ever travel by myself because my friends always flake on me but now I prefer it! I'm interning as a DevOps engineer and I cannot wait to start traveling again! Hopefully next year I'll be in Singapore then back to Bali!

This is awesome! I’ve always been bit a nervous about solo travel abroad - It’s cool to see other solo travelers out there.

@@Tiffanyt899 Yes! My advice is to research! Most places aren't as bad as you think. To dip your toe, I'd say start at resorts because they are secure then go off on your own. Most of the time you'll find fellow solo travelers. I usually make a road map and KZbin every place to see what it looks like. I KZbin resorts and streets to get my brain ready for the trip. You can do it!

Traveling solo is so freeing. I decided when I was 2022 five or six years ago to move abroad for a year to study the language. I lived in Japan for a year, back then, and moving there by myself, not knowing anyone, had me meeting so many people I wouldn't have met if I was with friends and I also got to experience Japan the way I wanted to. I can't wait to go back there and enjoy my time. Hopefully I'll have remote work so that I can bring it with me! The time distance is a bit intense, but I think the overlap would work out actually! Thanks for always inspiring me! I'm studying now for a coding bootcamp and it's been amazing! I love your videos!

Solo traveling is the best. Barcelona was the first country (that wasn't my native county) that I traveled out the US. I actually thought about going back and working from home for two weeks but the six hour difference would be horrible for me since my work schedule is strict. Barcelona is great for anyone that speaks English. They speak Catalan so I didn't speak Spanish to anyone that actually lived there.
