absolutely not, most of the things he recommends are complete bogus. If you’re interested in health tips then read articles by an actual licensed nutritionist, not someone who recommends eating as little carbs as possible because they’re “bad for you.”

@@jordanlane3755 I mean I agree in the sense that super low carb is obviously not sustainable for you average person, or the fact that language like carbs being "bad for you" is not accurate, but I've heard licensed nutritionists give pretty much the same advice as he did (and the opposite, also). I think we try to assign research-paper-level standards to a more casual conversational style of speaking on a topic, which isn't completely fair. As long as people exercise common sense and, as you said, read articles and do their own research, his speaking on health issues like this is interesting and not causing any real harm. If you've watched her videos or listened to the podcast for years, it's clear that he (and her mom) were "health nuts" way before it was trendy or mainstream, and he seems to come from a genuine place of wanting to achieve good health in the most natural way possible, which is refreshing to see from a traditionally educated and trained medical doctor. anyway, not disagreeing necessarily, I just think his little diatribes on health are interesting, even if they're not based upon 100% universally agreed-upon scientific literature (does much of that actually exist anyway?) or some easily-achieved practice for your typical person. Maybe I'm giving people and their ability to exercise common sense too much credit, but I dread the day when people either have to give excruciating disclaimers for anything they say about health and/or just never give any potentially "out there" ideas. I'm as far as you get from a holistic all-natural health nut in everyday practice, will certainly eat my share of carbs with no plans to stop, but I enjoy hearing about different lifestyles and approaches all the same.
