I am almost in tears watching you get so emotional over their progress. I’m also a first year teacher and I relate to this so much! Seeing those babies learn and make progress is such a indescribable feeling! Sending prayers for a fantastic rest of the year!

I just recently started watching through all your videos but seeing how invested you are in your students success has me emotional! I just graduated in December and have been working with pre-k kids since January. So this fall I will be a first year teacher. I am so ready and excited to get to impact the lives of my students like you have!

The best way to run centers for me was only 2 kids per center. Seems like more work, but I just did 2 of the same centers. It really kept the kids more focused to only interact with one partner.

I’m just catching up on your videos as I’ve only recently just found your account... but I just wanted to give you a tip on how to get the headphone plug (or whatever you call them) out of the slot... basically if you heat up the end of the hot glue sticks (which will obviously make it run and sticky) then place that over the slot with the object stuck inside it, wait for it to dry and then pull... it comes out so easy.. I know this was a few months ago but just a tip for any future dates with this issue. PS loving your videos I’m currently studying to become a teacher and I completely respect you for sharing your first year.

Omg the suffix frame. When student teaching last semester with first grade I had so many questions about that frame. LOL it was a great experience to help introduce the Fundations program. 😀 love your blogs so inspiring and I'm excited to get my own classroom! Stay amazing.

I know exactly how you feel trying to implement everything right away that your admin suggests, I’m the same way ☺️ Question: do y’all have personal days that you can take? Just wondering if you have to take a day without pay to go away?

Erica Sergio Ok I giggled. Good one! I just search on KZbin “calming instrumental music” and pick one with a pretty background that’s like 9 hours or longer so I can use it for the whole week 😂

I have to admit... I’m BORING and eat the same breakfast and lunch literally everyday 🤷🏼♀️ grilled chicken & roasted veggies (I buy them prepped from Trader Joe’s) with Sabra lemon hummus + an apple, banana, and baby carrots to snack on. Sometimes a protein bar if I’m feeling feisty!

My question is being that I'm only in my second semester of teaching classes but I have my certificate to beat the teacher's assistant how can I apply for a teacher's assistant position now while still being in school is it possible and the reason why I want to do this is for two reasons I pay out of pocket for my classes and that would help me finish paying for my cousin and also it will give me the experience that I need if I'm a teacher's assistant now my question is being that I've only in my second semester of teaching classes but I have my certificate to beat the teacher's assistant how can I apply for a teacher's assistant position now while still being in school is it possible and the reason why I want to do this and for two reasons I pay out-of-pocket for my classes and that would help me finish paying for my classes and also it will give me the experience that I need if I'm a teacher's assistant now.
