This week was the week before February vacation, valentines day and read a thon week. SO it was full of a lot of fun and definitely a little crazy. Thanks for following along. I am a prek teacher. I've been giving back their work but next year I will probably keep it till the end of the year and trash/return it back to them. Depending on what happens next year.

🧺Is the typical class size in your grade level and/or school about 12 students?

Thanks for watching 🥰 The past two years, yes. We added a teacher to the upper grade levels with grant money to make the class sizes smaller due to Covid. Next year we’ll be back to three teachers and about 18 kids per class

Loved the music that you’ve used in this video. Really relaxing. 🧺 My team and I have dressed up as Alice in wonderland. I was Alice, my aids were the rabbit and mad hatter. Other teachers were queen of hearts and Cheshire Cat. I give my class a choice where to sit. They can sit at their desks or on the rug. Mine are 7 to 9 years old. They know the expectation is that they have to listen. I do have some that need to fiddle and I allow that. I’d be happy to see anything! A more in-depth video of your favourite read aloud would be fun.
