Hi, I am a medical student from China and I am studying for a Ph.D. I would like to know how you arrange study, work, fitness exercises and other hobbies. During my internship or resident period and now in lab, my daily study and working time are 10-12 hours, and more than 8 hours at weekend basically. I admire you for being able to enjoy your hobbies and do sports besides studying and working. Can you show us how you arrange and balance your life in a video?

Video idea... Could you create a study with me video which is longer than 4 hours? (i know it is asking a lot) I think if people like myself can study with you for a longer period of time without having to replay the video it would really help our motivation :). Loved the vlog!

Awesome video again Sebastian! Obs & Gynec is one of my favourite subjects. Personally, I was initially a fan of Online classes since I loved joining from sitting in the comfort of my home, and watching it from I laptop (I love studying using tech). But, once so many classes started becoming online and it became too much to handle, I kind of started craving for the in-person lectures. 😅

Thank you for sharing your experience with us! I'm doing clinical rotations online as well (Filipino medical student). Currently with the other interns, residents and consultants of the Ophthalmology department. Shadowing/observing, seeing patients online (via virtual consultations). Hey Sebastian, I really really wanted to ask this for a while but what subjects did you pick for your HSC, did you have to pick Chemistry to do medicine. I’m currently choosing my subjects and seeing how you’re living a dream that I want to pursue, I thought no better to ask a med-student as great as you! im not from Australia but in the uk there are only 5 universities that dont require chemistry for medicine since the uk and australia's education systems are relatively similar id assume the safest option is to study chemistry, i do chemistry a level its not that bad the difficulty is similar in difficulty to the hsc, hope this helped

im currently in med and didn't do chem. I just never understood it and dropped it in year 11. It helps in med but it's not essential.

See Sydney and Australia seem so amazing, of course this is speculation but you guys are in a much better situation with covid but as soon as you guys saw things worsen slightly look how quickly everything was locked down AND HOW MATURELY IT WAS HANDLED. Here in Canada, especially Toronto, everyone acts so entitled, like they're too good for lockdowns. They start talking about how this is "taking away rights" and can't understand how all this is for the greater good, it's really pathetic to see. The first world really is sad
