Yes beautiful watch more dressy rather then sporty, havent decided though for this or the blue dial even heard someone mentioned the legibility of the blue one/ other than that a stunnning watch.

I'm a bit OCD about scratches. I've had the large Santos for 4 years. About once a year I take a cape cod polishing cloth to the bezel and it looks brand new. No need for people to worry about scratches....even the OCD people like me! Also, I bought the OEM black rubber strap from Cartier that comes with the black ADLC version and it looks fantastic with the white dial. Great contrast. Really pops and is wonderful for summer.

@@BGTrombone No need to cover the sapphire crystal. The Cape Cod polishing cloth won’t have any effect at all on sapphire crystal.

Im about to purchase the two tone Santos Medium so this review comes in very handy. Im thinking about buying it preowned so that new scratches dont hurt as much 🤣 on the other hand its nice to be the person who made all the scratches in your own watch. 🤷‍♂️

Spot on approach to it matey. Its a bloody tool watch at the end of the day. Far too many videos out there moaning that the bezel is a scratch magnet, Ffs even Stevie Wonder could see it would scratch to fuck before even putting it on the wrist. Utter Class piece and great that you will be wearing it as intended.

I thought I’d get the large Santos but scratches would drive me nuts. Decided to get 42 Ballon Bleu (steel bracelet and black croc). It is insanely versatile. Couldn’t be happier with that choice.

It’s a beautiful watch. The stainless steel and the white dial is a nice combination there’s a beautiful shine to it stainless steel bracelet beautiful polished bezel white dial. The watch is not cheap and it’s not too expensive either Cartier is a very prestigious brand the watch looks classy, clean, polished breathtaking beautiful and for the price relative to other watches I think it’s a must have in a watch collection! Nice beautiful watch thanks for sharing. You just sold me a Cartier Santos! Cartier owes you a commission😂❤Thanks for sharing ❤

Somehow when you own this watch the scratches don’t seem to matter much because you know they’re coming. A bunch of fine scratches will patina the bezel nicely. It’s those large deeper divots that hurt!

It's good, it's a lighter wearing watch. No real difference in quality both feel premium and offer something special. Can't go wrong with either tbh.

I've had both, the datejust does have a better bracelet (I have it on oyster though) but the santos is way ahead in aesthetics for me. Sold the santos as I couldn't get a good fit.
