I got the X100VI at launch date and cycled through some of the film simulations via the bracketing mode. There was a lot of hype for Reala Ace, but I keep choosing Classic Chrome for most scenarios. Your shots are a good example why. Cheers from Germay 👏

I'll give Reala Ace a go, but as you say, the pull of classic chrome is too strong - it's been my default since the X-T2. It works especially well in the colder months I think.

Haha - even if an X-Pro4 or X-E5 is announced in that time? I ordered quite 'late' relative to some others (1 hour after release), and received mine pretty quickly - so I appreciate how lucky I am.

If there is an X Pro 4 oder X E 5 coming soon... I´d may prefer one of this 2 instead of the X100VI. I think, IBIS is one of the biggest improvements so far in the X100 World.@@po.ntandshoot

Great Video! How would you compare the pocketability of the Fuji x100vi to the Ricoh gr iii? I just love the colors of the Fuji but I also like something that I can take with me all the time!

Very different, but I can compare pocketability. I can slip the GR3x into any jeans/trouser pocket. So, I can go a full day ensuring it's literally on me and not worry about it. The X100VI can be cradled by a large jacket pocket, but you can feel the weight and global scarcity of it at all times! Ricoh colours are great as well, in my opinion. Very different cameras.

Thanks - the image quality is very good, but I must admit that it is not as detailed as I was expecting for 40MP. Perhaps there is a sweet spot (aperture/ISO), but I need to test it more!

Only straightened / cropped a few slightly. All SOOC JPEGs compressed to a smaller filesize in Lightroom!

A genuine thank you - I thought it was defaulted on Boost. I checked and it was in fact on Normal! No wonder the battery has been incredible.

Peak Design Cuff Wrist Strap - I swear by it! Doesn't get in the way, you can switch it between other cameras, and it's shown very little sign of use over the past 4 years.
