And again I say. He did not reject you Ri, HE REJECTED GOD! No man of God would reject a standard that rooted in Christ. It not against you. It’s not that he’s didn’t choose you, he hasn’t chosen God the way you have. If he denies a Godly standard that means he denies Christ into his heart. Therefore he can’t lead you anywhere. It’s doesn’t matter how he checked other boxes, not checking the Christ standard box is the ultimate failure. Ri, watching this brought me right back to a place I was about 8 months ago. A VERY similar situation to yours where I felt I was comprising on some things I knew God didn’t want me compromising on. This went on for almost a year. God eventually removed me from that situation and I was crushed and confused for a while … months actually. But here I stand 8 months later with my joy renewed and my hope restored. I trust God’s plan for my life and I know He has something amazing in store for me. I wholeheartedly believe the same for you. The Lord will bless you for your obedience sis .. this is just a phase and it will pass. Pray scripture over yourself in the difficult moments and dive into God’s word. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Praying for your complete restoration in Jesus name 💕🙏🏽🤗

I Was in a similar situation but it lasted a year and half and I knew from the jump I wasn’t gonna compromise on this one thing and still continued because he checked those boxes. I wouldn’t say I prolonged meeting my husband because everything happens for a reason. I really got to know myself and heal from having been in this relationship. But as a woman who is slightly older than you, I went against those convictions and compromised myself in my previous relationship and it completely blew up in my face. I rarely comment, but I just want to thank you for your transparency! I know it’s not easy to share given all the reasons you had mentioned. But you sharing your struggles in the first place is what helped get you out of it now rather than later on down the line. It took courage to do what you did and I hope you’re able to see that. And like you said, it’s so sad that so many of us have been there. It can be very discouraging and disheartening. I resonate with this on so many levels! It’s so easy to be hard on ourselves for not nipping it in the bud from the beginning. But like you said, we have this desire to be with our kingdom spouse and after being deprived for so long, sometimes we want to bask in the goodness of having a contender and feeling seen, heard, and loved on…. Even if it may be short lived. But we forgot that our hearts, emotions, feelings and lives get intertwined in the process. You are human! We are flawed! The last thing you need in this moment is to be hard on yourself about delayed actions. Don’t focus on that. What matters most is that you did it before it progressed into something else and having to deal with the aftermath of that. Tend to your heart. It needs you. Be kind and be patient with yourself.

My new self when I deal with a break up, particularly if it wasn’t a long- term relationship is instead of staying devastated I try to think about the FUN I had with the person and how I appreciated getting to experience someone new in my life. It’s a compliment that someone was interested and found you attractive. That means so will other guys too! Sometimes when the guy really respects you they will try to protect you by breaking up so they don’t mess up your life. TRUST ME, men are wired to get you to be physical even if you are moral. Whew this vlog got me all in my feelings because I can completely relate to every emotion you shared. Even now I'm going through my own back and forth with God after celebrating my birthday all last month, and now post celebration find myself reflecting on being 48 and trying to get clarity about what His plans are for me and a husband. Being a music person I use that to encourage myself, so one thing that I would do after experiencing a loss was listen to this song by Kirk Franklin and Yolanda Adams called "Afterwhile". I would put that song on repeat and just bawl, and each day as I kept listening to it the tears would become less and less. I also like to make themed playlists such as songs about self worth, manifesting, etc. and listen to them in my car. At the risk of this being too long, I want to affirm Ri that you are definitely worth the wait, we ALL are, and even though we feel lost about what He is doing, know that our actions are not lost on Him.

Agree with all the Sisters below...you are so worth the wait! God will often times send the conterfit before the real thing, so you have made room for the real thing! You got this Sis! I also came up with some content you could possibly create: (1) Q & A, (2) Budgeting Videos, (you love math, so teach us how to create and use a budget with or without spreadsheets), (3) Monthly Goal Setting Videos, where we sit at the beginning of the month and plan what the Lord will have us to do Forexample: Maybe read 2 books this month or save a certain amount of money, etc. and we do this every month together (4) Teacher Lesson Planning or classroom planning, (5) Daily Devotionals with lifestyle content, like applying the devotion to your life and talking about it (6) Lesson Learned...like 3 things the Lord will do or show you when you do this or that...For example, the season or any season you've been through, what is the Lord teaching you or taught you that you could share with us and teach us. (7) Watch Parties - Where we watch movies together like you and J!

Letting go of the world is hard, and I’ve been going through the motions shocked at myself for the feelings of frustration, loneliness and fear that comes with letting go of what I know and see currently; to wait for what God has for me. I honestly think unintentionally we make being in a relationship an idol, without even knowing it. We have to be ok with accepting Gods Will and walking in Gods will. The check boxes don’t matter after a certain age. If a man is truly walking with the Lord then he could give up his fleshly desires. And he should not want to give them up for you but for God. It’s not about if YOU are worth waiting for, it’s about is that man willing to give up his fleshly desires for God. I know Preston Perry and Lecrae had a really good podcast interview. They both waited. A man truly walking with the Lord will know God is worth it and then they can SEE you!❤ Start telling men up front and if he walks away so be it! You got this!

I also wanted to add that people are different. How do you absolutely know that this man was “The One” for you? How do you know that he won’t have a change of heart and come back wanting a fresh start? You are not separate from your desires! You know what you want and you have to affirm that your desires are already yours. You are living in your truth, stand ten toes in it! If you know that this is your path then you have to rejoice in Gods plan for you and keep it moving! Feel the disappointment and then, keep it moving. Please do not let the enemy steal your God given joy, even in the midst of this hurt. Trust and believe Satan is rubbing his hands together like bird man thinking that he has you and he wants to throw you off track. God is pleased with you and trust and believe He will give you more than what you are asking for in ALL areas of you.
