there was a solder connection he missed, remember when he soldered the wire to the inside contact of the battery holder? you are supposed to connect it to one of the motors.

@NebraskaBlakshirts You can get worse motors from CD drives etc. Those exact motors I believe you can easily pick up from The Source/Radio Shack (That's where I get mine) You might be able to extract them from a small fan or something, who knows

You need a RECEIVER attached to an ANTENNA and a SERVOMOTOR on the BEATLEBOT. Then you will need a CONTROLLER with a long antenna and one or more JOYSTICKS on it. You can find these items at your local hobby shop. Then you have REMOTE CONTROL. Voila!

Really interesting it uses no microcontrollers or even discrete logic all the intelligence for obstacle avoidance is in the configuration of the switches and feelers.

you want me to tie a cat toy to my cat? why dont i just tie a mouse trap to my mouse, or fly paper to a fly. it doesnt make sense, and niether does not having car insurance with geico. did you know that you can save up to 457 dollars a year by switching to geico? ya, its so easy a caveman can do it.

@VikramKalidini Hello! I had exactly the same problem. The problem is that you have soldered the wire in the middle of the - and +, you should solder the wire on the - side i think, on the side where it is NO spring, it should work, it did for me!
@Somezable
@Somezable 12 жыл бұрын
so funny when first time it came to your direction, it looked like you jumped a bit to get out of it's way, then later being like "oh right, i don't need to move because it just goes some other way." and let it bump at your shoe. :D
