I subscribe to so many black booktubers because of you! I really appreciate it. Oh my gosh! I have locked my keys in my car at least a dozen times and twice when the car was on! The car I have now won’t let me lock my keys inside. So all of that today, I feel you on how frustrating it is to lock your keys in your car.

That’s what I like to hear 🥳🥳🥳 Yeahh it’s still baffling to me that there isn’t a function on all keys to stop it from locking if your keys are in your car .. if it can auto lock when you walk away why not that 🥲😭

Always make sure Im showing gratitude An tbh I’d still be locked out there today if they didn’t help in the parking lock 😂 Although my bf did call the car insurance to come assist 😵‍💫

So sorry you had that ordeal with your car but so thankful a village of ppl came to your aid and powered through and got the car open for you 🙏🏿 it sounds so stressful and yes back in the day my sister had to do the hanger thing but I know the cars are different now

I've got you in my black booktubers playlist! Definitely wanted to send you some love especially since I love that you're doing this and I think its such a great idea. I should probably alphabetize my list as well, SUCH a good idea (gotta update my list). Also it is really sad how many are not active anymore on the space! Its nice seeing more of us join but its sad seeing the OG's drop off! Really hoping Jesse comes back for sure, love them! Anyway, Love this catch up type video, lots of fun! 🤔 you might have to play around with key words like maybe try looking up the Latin or Hispanic or Latine or Latinx booktuber tag it looks like a few ppl did those some I found after a cursory search were: 1. Mynameismarines (she’s funny I’ve seen a few videos of hers) 2. xo Jo 3. Nahomy’s Library 4. Melybee (her channel is in Spanish she did a tag for her favs they might all be Spanish if that interests you) 5. Deya 6. Allie with books 7. Kassie.B.Books 8. litwithKat 9. Also the more you keep searching it up you’ll get recommended ppl as well bc I periodically search black KZbinrs and they don’t all pop up but then later on they’ll show up as a recommendation. Also maybe if you have tik tok try on there as well or ig not everyone is into making long form content.

I recently read and finsihed Collide by Bal Khabra. So good. It involves deeper topics-which drew me in and made me feel for the characters even more. He falls first or is at least willing to admit to it before her because he is open to trusting others while she tries to keep most people at arm's-length.
