Weekend Trip to Richmond, VA | Maymont, Carytown + Distilleries!

Hey guys! Welcome to today's video where Ruben & I take a short trip to Richmond, VA & instantly fell in love! We weren't able to see absolutely everything, but we hit a couple of big spots & things to do.

I love Richmond VA , especially in tge fall. The scenery is so beautiful and the vibe of the city is amazing. I have never visited the distilleries but they look super chill and fun.

Richmond has such beautiful landscape. I also wish you saw the butterflies 🦋. I love the sight of farm animals so cool & beautiful 😍 . Do they have a lodge? This would make a perfect holiday stay. The waterfall at the Japanese garden was so beautiful to see.

Omg that would be an amazing experience if they had a lodge to stay on the grounds! From what I saw they have salons & areas for weddings & events but not a lodge.

This looked like so much fun! Seeing the butterflies would’ve been so nice! Omg the waterfall was beautiful! What a nice, relaxing trip! I love in md, so Virginia is relatively close- I would like to visit!

Yeah, filmed in a number of places in Richmond and the surrounding area. There is a list online of all the places.

The food at the supermarket looks yummy. A beautiful place for sightseeing and vacation. I love that Richmond Park has such great scenery and beautiful gardens

What a relaxing trip! The nature walk was definitely my favorite. Seeing the animals and the weather was beautiful. I would have probably walked through the basement. Lol

My favorite part was the butterfly garden!! I have only ever been to one, but it was sooooo magical as the day we went there were just tons of butterflies it was so beautiful. I would have posted up in the Japanese garden for hours!! Those pathstones in the water are so beautiful, what a great place to meditate!!! Beautiful little trip love!!

The only butterfly garden I've been to is at Disney's Epcot theme park & it's such a beautiful & overwhelming experience lol. I feel you 'cause I really did want to sit in the Japanese garden all day! lol

Ugh sorry it was raining all weekend. This happened to me when I went to Paris, it rained a lot. Kind of early in the season for rain. Mongrel looked so cute! The New York Deli looked super yummy! The park and grounds looked so nice and peaceful. Oh wow eagles!! I use to see them when I lived in the PNW. Oh I went to a Japanese garden in Paris too! Love the turn of the century house! Meet in St Louis that it the movie I totally thought of before you said it! The Fancy Biscuit yum!! Ah glad you all got to see a raven. Wow there is a lot there. So fun to follow along loved this 👍and just subbed hope can connect and excited to see more!!😉😍🥰
