I have lived in the High Sierra (CA) where black bears were our frequent visitors. Your home site is gorgeous.

@@Buoy4AK Towns not much bigger Than it was in the 60s an 70s when i left there Im not sure what brought bears into town . I think at one time most bears were at the south end of the island In Larson bay and such But when i was a Kid my family lived out at Island lake we lived their 10 years never seen a bear once all them years or down town by Crafts, the mall any where ,, NO BEARS AT ALL LOL Those were the good e days
