Not really sure where SNLs head was, but maybe not a single thing funny to incorporate that into, at least not at this point in time. Also, it's not really clear what exactly did take place there and although we can say with confidence that Assad is a monster, he may not have been the only monster in that rather peculiar event.

Yeah, since you are so CONCERNED with Syrian families, ask Trump to let some REFUGEES into America. But then why did Trump say he wanted nothing to do with the Syrian conflict? They've been using chemical weapons for MONTHS. NOW Trump gives a darn?
@Camiloquai17 жыл бұрын
1958Shemp I would, but I doubt he listens to a Mexican living in Mexico. Greetings from Mexico, by the way way. My only point is that America is almost always at war, but practically nothing disturbe their daily life. And this approach to the recent events is a proof of that.

My concern is for two things: 1. The innocent Syrian civilians who are just trying to live their lives in the most difficult circumstances brought on by Assad, the rebellion against him or, in most cases, both and 2. That the US does not become (yet again) involved in a pointless, protracted war with no real exit strategy or post-war operational plan. This move by Trump honestly feels like a 'Wag the Dog' moment rather than any real declaration of intentions against Assad (who is Putin's dear friend after all), but if this is meant in seriousness then I hope Trump and his administration have all the facts in the case and I'm not talking alternative facts, either. Yes, seeing the graphic images of suffering coming from Syria was a horror, but who is doing this and why? Could it be Assad? Quite possibly from what I have heard of him (dictator, evil, tyrant, despot, etc.). Could it be forces against Assad counting on the US to act like the World Police (which Trump was against prior to this move, but the man shifts on policies faster than a wheelman in a getaway car, which is disturbing) and come riding into the scene with trumpets (excuse the pun) blaring and missiles flying to destroy what they cannot? Also, quite possibly (Turkey has apparently been 'throwing rocks' at Syria for reasons beyond my knowledge). I just hope that this is thought through with careful consideration and not on the whim of trying to appear like some kind of 'action man' with no real plan in sight.

Lots More of them will die from starvation than the kids we saw on the news this week. Where is his compassion on these occasion. What a waste of millions of dollars. Reports say the airfield is still operational so what was the point.

this is such an obvious false flag. It doesnt even make sense for Assad to launch a chemical attack to kill ~30 civilians, when he is already winning the war. so at the end of the day Trump really did bomb Syria for no reason. its ignorate of you to believe the media when they have no proofs or what so ever.

@kristobalhozevich7 жыл бұрын
Of course you should! Could you please show Syria on world map and name its border countries without Google?
@aarondavies81647 жыл бұрын
I don't know about Max, but I could. I spent a fair portion of my life in that region fighting against the assholes that killed indiscriminately (rarely with chemical weapons). The missile strike that was launched by a president that I don't like was, militarily speaking, a good measure. Put no US troops in harms way, and let any asshole that uses chemical weapons against women and children know that he cannot use those weapons without repercussion. The war continues conventionally, and the asshole knows that he has to win by following the rules of war laid out by the Geneva Convention.
@kristobalhozevich7 жыл бұрын
So, basically, your country spends 6 years in civil war, half of the world demonizes you and claims you dead, and finally after years of struggle US ambassador in UN officially says that you are no longer a priority. That's your first reaction, right? To kill 90 innocent women and children with vicious chemical warfare? Guys, are you sure you don't have any propaganda in US?
