Get a 3 bin laundry sorter basket. Lights, darks, delicates. When there’s enough stuff in a section, throw it in the washer. It literally takes less than 10 minutes of your actual time to do a load of laundry. Because it’s pre-sorted in the bins, all you have to do is dump it in the machine (1 min), move to the dryer (1 min) fold or hang and put away (8min). If you look at it as 10 minutes a day, it really seems kind of silly to have laundry piled up. Always go move the load when the timer goes off and pull your dry clothes into the living room to fold while watching tv at night.
@rondaspencer14082 жыл бұрын
I agree with the sorted bins that’s exactly what I do. I also find it easier to hang clothes fresh out of the dryer to mostly eliminate steaming or ironing and also not folding if the article of clothing hangs, plus that is a time saver.

So I had a dream that you guys got another visla puppy & he was running around so energetic & booker was an older dog, not as energetic but loved the puppy. I kept calling the puppy booker tho, & in my head I was like wait that’s not right, because booker isn’t a puppy anymore. But then I realized the older dog was goose 🥺 he loved booker in the dream. Made me happy, I hope you guys see this & it makes you happy too ❤️

Julia I have anxiety and have had that same problem letting go and relaxing….I would go to yoga classes and literally have panic attacks during them. Doing Yoga with Adrienne videos at home and working in the anxiety and phobia workbook I got off Amazon is the only things that helped me. Maybe they could help you too 💗💗

Wait why do you have to do laundry everyday? Realistically you’re only wearing two or three outfits each a day (gym and then day fit), plus sheets and towels so that’s not actually that much… I feel like maybe you’re just so far behind you can’t keep up? might be fun to do a legit laundry weekend and just get fully caught up? My husband and I do two or three loads a week, wash throughout the day and then put it all away right before bed. Pro tip is to dump it on the bed so you literally can’t go to bed till it’s done 😂

I’m so excited you both are enjoying acupuncture! I’ve been receiving treatments for years and I absolutely love it. I really relate to Julia with the anxiety. One thing my practitioner has shared with me before is that TCM and acupuncture brings things up to the surface so that you can let it go. That’s the magic of it! It’s a journey for sure but it seems you’re already on this path anyways 😌 love how much y’all share about your individual experiences

I too get panic attacks when I feel like I am stuck - claustrophobia too. Had my first panic attack sitting in a middle seat on an airplane last year. Started to tell myself that if there is air then you can breathe and if you are sitting somewhere like a carwash or at an appt then I tell myself there isn't anywhere else to be so I may as well sit in the moment.

Acupuncture saved me. I had this messed up ankle for a long time and nothing helped. I did Physio, Massage therapy, chiro none of it worked. I finally jumped the gun and did acupuncture. I went once, for one hr session and I've never had that pain again. It's been a year now. It's definitely anxiety inducing but that's the point. It's releasing the energy from you body. The acupuncturist can, stay with you in the room if you need someone! Totally do it Julia! From one anxious sista to another:)

I have struggled with laundry so much. The thing about waiting till the baskets full is sometimes it’s full on a day your busy and then you don’t do it and then it piles up more and more. Doing the laundry every day or every other day has helped so much because it’s also less clothes to fold and put away so it goes by fast and you can fit it in at any time of day.
@katiebell10222 жыл бұрын
I have a bin upstairs for bedroom & bath, and one downstairs in the laundry room which is close to hubby's bathroom. He usually has more to wash than I do because of work, so he puts his stuff in the laundry room bin. That way when there is a full load it's ready to go. The rest I do about once a week, usually the same day (maybe 2-3 loads a week total).

Juj! I recommend asking if you can play music while getting the acupuncture the next couple times until you learn to relax a little more in the room. For music play like piano or calming music and it may help you fall asleep eventually during it!

Julia, I will mention you in my IG comments to see my current passion. I'm an actual alcoholic and I now see how alcohol is romanticized in our society. Coming home from a social even of any kind sober is the absolute best feeling....then waking up the next day is totes awesomsauce. Of course if there is nothing fancy to drink at bars I drink club soda and citrus or sometimes a fancy ginger Ale. Alcohol makes my anxiety so, so, so much more.

Julia, I have the same constitution as you. My first acupuncture sesh was painful and I had a panic attack. After (I went 3 times a week for 1 month then less after) I settled down and the experience was just like Hunter's. Crazy recommendation but it worked for me: I used to talk out loud to myself (LOL) and then after took a nap. You absolutely should express with the Acupunturist that you are experiencing anxiety! They should be able to walk you through a process that will help you relax during the session. I don't recommend float therapy for you but I do recommend it for Hunter. It is an hour in a pod of salt water so you are floating. They start off with music and there are some dim lights but you can go pitch black and silent for the most benefit. Joe Rogan does this on the regular. Good luck to Julia. Hang in there! You have to feel all of the feelings in order to heal.

rewatching this, Juj, you should really consider trying meditation. Hearing you talk about how you can't relax and sit still. the early morning may actually be way better for you, like before you've had coffee or anything to do the treatments.. as far as yin and yang go, you are absolutely talking about how youre in your yang energy. the more you can balance this and sit still and be with the silence and that yin energy, etc. yang is masculine, yin is feminine. when youre talking to yourself, try to just observe the thoughts, and let them pass. i also try counting, somehow it interferes the anxious trail of thoughts. connecting with your breath in those times helps tremendously as well. those spiritual messages you guys speak of are divinely guided intuitive messages.... the more relaxed you are, the more open you are, the more it will come.

My counselor has equipped me w/tools to confront anxiety and I can see myself growing and working through all of it.. Dunno if you're open to it but something to consider! It's great you're taking time for yourself and working to eradicate it, maybe someone trained in this area could help give you more understanding of what's going on in your mind and heart. I've been mind blown multiple times by the knowledge of my therapist.. She shed light and gave reasoning to the why behind my anxiety, etc. Wish u both all the best
