In this weekend vlog I take you with me as I explore some of my favorite hiking spots in Acadia National Park in Maine. One of my favorite things about Acadia is that the ocean meets the forest and you can access both worlds so easily.

How are there only 65 comments on this amazing video? I just found your channel and this is such a great space. I have seen newer videos of yours (Joshua Tree) but honestly the cool weather, cabin and wooded area is much more my vibe. Hoping that you are having a wonderful week and a Happy Thanksgiving (if you happen to celebrate it). I can’t wait for retailers to allow for reusable cups again. For those of us who absolutely love Acadia National park. I almost had tears in my eyes watching you hike and the scenery. I just wished you had told the names of the trails and mountains you were hiking on. I didn’t get to see the signs long enough or scenery to picture where you were. I try to make it up there every few years but because of COVID I’ve missed several. My heart is truly in Maine! My one brother just bought property there and my other brother bought land to open up a new campground. Truly life as it was meant to be lived! I even named my dog Moxie after the soda! Thank you for a wonderful taste of Maine and Mt.Desert Island.

Trails are in the description! Saturday I did Perpendicular Trail. Sunday I did Jordan Pond Path > Sargent South Ridge > Penobscot Mountain and then looped back around to Jordan Pond Path 🥾💕

If you’re into health and full body yoga/ health and functional movement…I highly recommend looking into ‘barefoot’ shoes/ footwear….a great book to start/ learn about the why’s and how’s is by Katy Bowman…Whole Body Barefoot. I’ve been ‘barefoot’ for 2 years and could never go back to wearing ‘conventional’ shoes/ boots. Another great resource for finding barefoot footwear and tips is a blog called Anya’s Reviews. ( US based)
