Great video thanks. Am about to embark of a 3 month trip to Japan on a budget. Will have access to a kitchen so lots of grocery shopping. I particularly like the no spend day, which I do alot and it is surprisingly a good way to accumulate savings.

Thanks for the video. I just returned from Osaka to US on a vacation in Japan and I was amazed at how affordable everything was from a tourist's perspective too, particularly the transportation and food for an American with US Dollars. I concur with your assessment of the restaurant and convenience store prices, and what a nice place it was to visit overall. The only downside I would say were the crowds on the canal (on the National Holiday) and there was more trash on the streets than anywhere else we visited in Japan. Not so say it was a lot, as just about any city in the US is worse, but it was really the only ~littered streets we encountered after traveling to Hiroshima, Tokyo, Kyoto and Mt Fuju as well.

I agree! I’m glad you enjoyed your trip. Osaka is a friendlier but not so tidy city in Japan. Thank you for your comment 🙇🏽♂️
