Hani and Heechul were guest hosts during this period while Doni was on break from all his shows for mental health. i think Doni took a couple breaks throughout his career because of anxiety disorders. gfriend has been on weekly idol 14 times as a full group (mentioned in their latest appearance that they're the most guested group). the xmas special w Dahyun doing the heartbeat thing wasn't w full groups so Momo actually wasn't there for that episode. it was also done w gfriend and lovelyz w each group bringing 3 members. the reason they said 2x dance was gfriend's thing on weekly idol was because they're the group that first originated the 2x dance

Momo and Heechul are really so so so cute. Idk how something so obvious as them liking each other went right over our heads. After watching compilations of them on shows and seeing them interact, it was as clear as day that they genuinely liked each other. It makes me blush 😂

Gfriend are the group that have appeared on weekly idol the most actually! This is all of their group episodes- kzbin.info/aero/PLXD3QfbSgX5-QDAv7M7uglgP8mtbG1Pf5 And these are excluding SinB’s episodes, she was part of the cast in 2016- start of 2017 on a segment called Idol is best that I think sometimes came after the end of a full episode along with GOT7’s Jackson (hence why he kept trying to get her attention in this like when Gfriend came in, during GOT7’s cake dance thing and after Gfriend’s 2x speed dance), Twice’s Dahyun, Heechul, Hani and Monsta X’s Jooheon! Yeah, GFRIEND are the queens of 2x dance, and yeah, is actually 1.5x, but is the same for every group here :3 I mean, real 2x would be dangerous for them, right?
