Execute on most important priorities.
To live a more balanced existence, you have to recognize that not doing everything that comes along is okay. There's no need to overextend yourself. All it takes is realizing that it's all right to say no when necessary and then focus on your highest priorities.

I have read this dude's book time and time again over the past three and a half years. During this period I learned English, changed my physic, moved countries, got into college, improved my relationship with the ones closest to me and became aware that I have a lot of potential. The knowledge in that book helped go through the most difficult period of my life, thus, I strongly suggest anyone that may be facing difficult life situations to buy it and live by those habits every day of their lives. (Believe me, withing a few years down the road, you will not recognise yourself).

3 principles for effective weekly planning: 1. Review mission and roles (in work, community, home; don't forget the "relationship" with yourself) 2. Choose big rocks i.e. the single most critical task that will move the needle 3. Schedule the week i.e. dedicate time and plan the big rock activity into your schedule. Then plan other activities around it.

If you do anything this year, get his book The 7 habits of highly effective people. Read it or listen to it. His voice really sinks in. I loved it as an audio book and listened to it as I drove or cooked or cleaned or whatever. You will listen to it over and over and it will change your life. Truly like my own bible as to how to go through life. Don't let the title mislead you, it's not about being a better business person of a super productive person. It's about how to manage and control all areas of your life from personal to financial to career . His chapters on relationships are really amazing and simple to understand. Best book I've ever known.

Thank you so much Mr. Stephen Covey. You have made a drastic positive impact upon my life. There are just two books I prize the most - The Bhagavad Gita, and your book: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. If I were to be send to jail today, these two would be the books I would take with myself. Your wisdom and knowledge shall continue to live and shall continue to serve and change the lives of millions and billions of individuals in the infinite future, through your book based on timeless and true principles. May Lord Krishna (in the form of Jesus for you) provide you with his infinite peace and grace, not in heaven, but in Lord Krishna himself (his beautiful lotus-like feet).

_ Focus on the week help us stay focused day to day without losing the sight of the big pictures . _ The weeks give us the most manageable perspective. _ It's close enough to be highly relevant, but distant enough to provide context and perspective. _ 3 steps process: 1. Write down the missions and roles. Roles present the areas of responsibility, the key relationship, don't forget yourself, you have the obligation to take care yourself, sharpen your own saw. 2. Choose big rocks which have the significant impact to your roles, mission + Ask yourself: What is the most important thing I could do in this role this week? + There are always quadrant 2 activities ( activities which are important to your life but not urgent), creat quadrant 2 activities for your plan help you don't push your priorities aside because of urgent. 3. Schedule the week + Block out time now in your schedule for the big rocks before the week fills up with other activities then schedule the other activities around the big rocks + Schedule big rocks for each week-> each day zoom in and prioritize your tasks and appointments

0 - 1:00 I can only see the microscope or the forrest and nothing inbetween, am in the moment, and play the game in the moment, with almost no experiential reference of My past, and a begin with the end in mind approach to My future, but no sense of the future. Today is all that I will ever have, by design. Ignore My intentional writing style which I'm able to adjust at will which registers 3/5 on the LSAT test, in a standardized test that I passed 152, and was objectively measured at 3/5 when actually writing.
