Dark Flash storyline is from way back during the 90s, in the middle of the Mark Waid era, right after the Chain Lightning Saga. Wally was replaced by a darker alternate version during almost a year. Icon, also from the 90s, is a character from Milestone Media, a line of minority oriented comics, founded back then by Dwayne McDuffy and others. The most important character in the line, was Static Shock. Unfortunately, McFarlane is releasing Icon in a modern costume, rather than the original one, which is a lot simpler and more recognizable.

Tempest--Criss Angel and Dave Navarro's beautiful anencephalic son 🍉. He kinda looks like that house Dreamworks animation style from the late 90's too, Road to El Dorado/Prince of Egypt etc. With you on the Icon look too. I was aware of and read a few issues of the newer books, but still didn't recognize this costume as him. Headsculpt is super rad though, we don't get enough cool black dude heads to swap around.

Can someone explain to me why figures that go up for preorder from Hasbro from months ago have later release dates than figures that have just gone up? They do the same thing with their Classified line and it's frustrating that newer reveals release months ahead of older ones. Shouldn't that be reversed?
