Having been shot by those simunition rounds in training many times, I can say that they do hurt like hell. They definitely prove the point that the bad guy got you !

Good lord that benelli pistol is beautiful

I like to see the vintage & somewhat obscure examples. Brings blast from the past in my case. Once owned the Benelli M76 Target configuration factory boxed. Super interesting pistol of extreme quality as you mentioned. To date, I still enjoy shooting my quite ugly old Mauser Bolo converted to 9mm Luger. The Bolo tends to draw interest of others at the range. Often have entertained thoughts of acuiring a Broomhandle example if for mostly allowing the Segway to further the discussion of its history during such gatherings. Lots of fun👍

Simunitions training is an excellent adjunct to regular weapons qualifications. It allows you to run various scenarios in a safe manner.

Love getting home from early morning Sunday shoot, and getting your video. Enjoyed the Ruger #3, I own a #1 since over 25 years, in .257 Robert’s, with a Yugoslav Scope ( brief test from their sniper manufacturer on the hunter market of the 90’s) and a set trigger. Got to meet Mr. Ruger in Nuremberg at the IWA when he was still alive, and have a signed copy from Mr. Wilson the author of the Ruger book. Always wanted to pick up a #3 for the collection. The Colt revolver was nice as well. Sadly not much used in the local NC market. Did see the HK 2000 listed with Simpson LTD looks like they got a load of the Swiss police turn in’s. Somewhere in the USA is my HK USP in .45acp SN#30, was stupid and traded it, was a HK prototype I got from a friend with HK.

The Glock practice pistol is what our local L.E.A.’s use, and a nearby force was practicing in an abandoned building when one officer decided to shoot a homeless man outside. The “paintball” hit the man in his shoulder and penetrated his flesh. The cop was brought up on charges of assault and battery and was fired. So, you bet they hurt.

Never heard of one of them penetrating skin. Is the a confirmed thing or did it just break the skin?

I enjoy your videos, but I'm glad that I don't live in your area. I couldn't afford to buy a firearm. The P30L in my area, goes for about $615 - $640 brand new.

Interesting that Glock training weapon “blue” color is the same color US Navy uses to designate that ordinance is an inactive display shell or missile.

Do you even have to do a background check on the 17T? Dosen't seem like it would be considered a "firearm". It's dumb that they aren't direct to the consumer market, same with simunition. I've been wanting to add one to the collection. It would be substantially cheaper if it wasn't more restricted than a real firearm.

Omegas work or they don’t. None of them are in spec. But sometimes they do work. If they work the weak point is the barrel. They used cheap barrel steel and barrel life is somewhat limited

14:37 to 14:46. This the "Mah stopping power 45" myth came to life. I remember years ago I debated with this other guy on the dead horse topic 9mm vs 40 SW on some youtube channel. This person was all like.."It takes 15 rounds for one US soldier to kill one drugged up Taliban. It only take 1 round of 40 caliber to kill one drugged up Taliban". Lol. You guys see the similarly story here? All he did was change a few words instead of 38 Colt and 45 he switch to 9m and 40. 🤣

Do you have a case for the G17T. My local GT distributors had a ton of 17T cases for sale for 5$ a piece and I picked up like 5. All without the gun but have the cleaning kit and the 3 blue interchangeable backstraps. I'd be willing to send one case to you for free

I've been wanting to add a 17T to my collection for awhile. Are the boxes black? My 19x box is FDE, so it would be cool if the 17t box was blue.

Regulation paintball fps is 280. If I read right those sim rounds are pushing a bit over 400 and its substantially smaller. So if I had to guess it feels twice as bad as a .68 cal standard paintball. Would be interested in finding out if anyone has one in South Jersey haha

@@darrenhaywood7924 Did you even watch the video? Do you even know the difference between HK's standard DA/SA trigger and the LEM trigger? It is best to know what you are talking about before you make a comment that highlights you ignorance of HK products.
@stevelewis12212 жыл бұрын
Don't know what area you live in, but one place that I deal with, normally has the P30sk and the VP9sk starting out at $615 - $635.
@brianshuler69512 жыл бұрын
@@stevelewis1221 In North Texas, that is the bottom of the price range for standard DA/SA triggered P30SKs. However, I am interested in one with the LEM trigger system. These are very hard to find here and are selling at a large premium. The last used LEM P30SK I heard about sold for $700. Recently, the only new one I have found locally was priced at $950. I am curious if that is common nation wide or just a Texas thing. Thanks for the reply.

Their safety protocols are that bad?
@youngsquidling25452 жыл бұрын
@@rob6850 no not at all. I had a full face mask and gloves. They even told us we should wrap our necks up and make sure we had no bare skin showing. I just didn't have anything to wrap my kneck up. It only hurt for a few minutes. We all got to shoot each other with them. There was 3 different zone's set up, each zone we ran like 6 different scenarios. We had to decipher who was the threat and if it was a shoot or no shoot threat. It was crazy fun.
