Weekly Vlog # 298: Bumps in the road

Hi everyone
welcome back to another slice of my weekly waffling, I hope you've
all had a good week. If its your first time stopping by the channel, thank you

I hope you had a nice Easter if you celebrate. Ours was quiet but that was perfectly ok for me. Its been a fairly quiet week all round whilst I focus on trying to recoup some energy and adjust to life with sleep apnea. I've been having good and bad nights with the CPAP machine but I'm feeling positive. Thanks for all the well wishes and advice, it really means a lot!
Its almost boating season here in the Netherlands so Lawrence and I went to look at some shiny new boats. We're thinking things over like we do each year but its really time we seriously look into upgrading our old girl. Watch this space, I'll tell you what we end up deciding.
The week looked like it would be a busy one but I was actually relieved to have a few dinner dates cancel on me. I'm really struggling with energy at the moment which makes it very difficult to make plans. I'm finding I make dates with my friends and at the time I'm really into it then its a 50/50 chance if I'm actually up to it when the day comes. Oh well I'm sure it will improve soon.

Sorry you're struggling with your energy so much, Dawn. You're usually such a 'busy bee', so I can imagine it's hard to be a bit stuck on a low. It's good to see you take your time to recover. I hope times will turn soon and that you will sleep much better and regain your bubbling energy! 🥰

Glad your feeling better, this virus has been awful a lot of people seem to be suffering from it like you. It’s nice that you and Lawrence are getting out for meals and trips together, relationships change over time as you transition from dating, parenting the just coupling. Enjoy each other love and hugs xx

Hi Dawn, hope you continue to feel better. I buy English muffins (crumpets) at least a couple times every month lol. Everyone here is gearing up for the solar eclipse on Monday, although we are not in the path we went to the last one in 2017 - very cool experience.

Glad you had a lovely Easter. Good to hear that you still able to sleep with the cpap machine. I have heard from others that it talkes some getting used to and some adjusting to the individual. Good luck to you with this process. April passed in a blur so I have several of your videos to catch up on. Maybe May will be better. On to the next video. Salam wa sa’aadah

I hope you really start to feel much better this week. Apart from it being a bit breezy we haven't suffered in this storm. Really odd weather. Lots of rain and wind but warm. Middle of the week I got that cannot be bothered feeling...then ended up feeling fed up 🤣 Never justify your life. I was a very young single Mum and my idea of eating out was a picnic in the garden. Now I am a young Nana to 30 year old women!!! I meet up with friends 2/3 times a week for lunch and feel very lucky I can do that. My husband & I are at the age here we prefer a lunch out and evening in but I love hearing all your adventures xx PS I braved putting the washing out...it is very windy

Hi Dawn, I would have difficulty getting to sleep while wearing the mask, so I admire you for sticking with it for however long during the night. I see the virus is still hanging around you so it's no wonder that you don't have your usual energy. We are on the second day of Storm Kathleen but being on the East side of the country we don't have the torrential rain, only high winds but it is warm. One day during the past week we had a hailstorm with ice shards, thunder and lightening so we were glad to stay in. Good for you going out for meal, I often say to George "shall we go out tonight" although in all honesty we are coming home by about 6.30 p.m. 🤣as these days we don't like to eat late. I'm looking forward to seeing the wreath thing you were talking about, take care xx
