What does the beeswax do for x-stitch?

I have 3 in my bathroom on the windowsill. They love it in there. I tend to nip out the babies as soon as they show, if I don't want anymore. I have given loads away.

Have a wonderful time in Malta….late summer sun, perfect. Haha never too soon for pumpkins….treated myself to a big treat - can you believe a pumpkin shaped Le Creuset casserole? Also some more reasonably priced Asda pumpkin cushions for my redecorated bedroom….and Halloween PJs :)

Hi Dawn , firstly have a FAB time in Malta . Please keel those hauls coming , just love them. I use the cords on my glasses all the time , I keep the rubber fasteners near the lens so they are not near my face if that helps m but I love just been able to hang them round my neck as I need them for reading so you can imagine on off on off drives me mad. xxx

I tried to watch the owl pellets, but it got to Squamish for me. Good luck with what you found.

Hi Dawn, that was squeamish and interesting. The bones after being in the solution are amazing and will look fabulous in a small display cabinet in the Gentleman's Room of your doll house. I thought the same as Karen380 when you said they weren't to size, dinosaur bones would be the perfect exhibit!! Thanks for doing that and taking us along with you xx

I guess if I was going to dissect animal waste, better it come from the front end than the back🤔😛. Really, I do find this sort of thing interesting. What an awesome resource for your doll house specimens room. They could be dinosaur bones for your Victorian doll if they are too big in scale. Put a couple in a little bit of plaster to make it look like the doll man was an amateur archaeologist. They turned out so cool.

Owl pellets are so cool. When I was taking a science class as part of my education degree we dissected owl pellets. I could have spent a few days picking them apart. It was fun to recreate tiny skeletons. I know that sounds so weird 🤣

Hi Dawn. So nice to have a “chat” with you again this morning. I had to laugh when your “creepy stuff” was owl pellets! I got “class sets” of owl pellets every year for my students to “dissect” in class. It was to look to see what the owls ate. It was also to see if we could match any of the bones we found to an animal that the owl might have consumed. In the US owl pellets are considered quite a normal elementary school science material. Please keep us posted on the tinnitus!!! Most of my family has this and it’s horrible!!! Please try cinnamon in the areas where the ants are in your kitchen!!! I have tinnitus as well, it can be really maddening. Please keep us posted on good remedies 😬We used to dissect owl pellets at school and I did it as well with my classes when I was teaching. So I'd watch if you made a video of it😄The boat trip was wonderful to watch 🛥 It's been really humid in the Netherlands, weather wise. Hi Dawn, this is my third attempt at posting, I keep losing my message!! I have regular clear outs but half the stuff ends up going back into my wardrobe - George's goes straight in the charity bags or the bin - no second chances for his stuff 🤣. It was nice to see William, he's grown into a fine young man - but the crease protectors made me smile. I could do with an IT expert, George can't even send a text! The craft shop looked amazing - too tempting by far xx

Hello again. Lovely catch up and we see William. If anyone looked in my bathroom cabinet they would think we had a baby. Sudocreme, baby wipes, baby shampoo and baby oil which came in useful for me this week. I had my second cataract surgery and have to wear an eye patch for a few nights. The sticky tape to attach it is super sticky but baby oil soon gets it all off. Enjoy your week. I hope your weather is as nice as here and you get out on your boat xx
