Hi Dawn, it's lovely to see you. I'm sorry you've been so ill but glad you felt well enough to vlog. Christmas and New Year was cancelled this year, George has been very ill with a chest infection due to his COPD and Bronchiectasis and it still hasn't cleared up. The taupe nail varnish, and the dark red before that, are the two colours I would choose. Oh I remember Will when he was small standing next to you, and look at him now! I thought you were going to take a bite from Jack's treat ha ha. Does he miss Daxter? Take care, keep well xx

I don’t know if it is available near you but we have someone who is a professional glass blower who adds ashes to different blown glass ornaments. He does people and animals. All sorts of shapes. I hope you don’t mind me saying but I had it done for my husband. I have a lovely glass orb in his favourite colour, orange, green and clear that is by my chair and also a small pink heart hanging in my car. They only use a small amount but it makes bubbles in the glass. He does all sorts of shapes for animals, bone shapes etc for dogs. Hope you don’t mind me letting you know. It just feels nice having them around. Bless.

Happy New Year Dawn! Glad to hear you are feeling much better. Hubby and I both got Covid a couple of days after Christmas. We are only just getting over it now. I’ve watched The White Lotus. I enjoyed the first season but found the second season to be very strange. Apparently there is a third season, coming this February. I’ll probably watch it 😂

Hi Dawn, I was hoping you had got away with not catching it off of your Mum. I am surrounded by several people that have had it, everyone tested for Covid and all were negative, it is a particularly nasty flu virus which floored young and old alike. We had snow at around two o clock this morning, it lasted a few hours and was gone by daylight. I agree with you the weather is proper weird. Ive had exactly the same as you dawn and the cough is still lingering and energy levels are not great 2 weeks now i kept having to go to bed ive never been so ill and stomach trouble i think my body was trying to get rid of whatever this flu thing was , had the worse Christmas and new year ever 😢 Hugs to you ❤ here’s to feeling better xx

Hope your feel better soon. So far I've just had sniffles while all around me there are colds and coughs. I have my cat's ashes on the book shelf next to my knitting chair. I also have my mum's empty ashes container there. Taking our Christmas decorations down over Sunday and Monday (Epiphany) as is our tradition too. Happy New Year. Jane.

Hi Dawn, lovely to see mam on the mend and looking forward to her Christmas dinner. I knew mam and Estelle's arrival would cheer you up and I'm glad to know that Daxter will soon be back home with you. Christmas was cancelled here because George took ill with a COPD/Bronchiectasis infection on Monday evening. I have a Steroids and Antibiotics Rescue Pack which I start him on as soon as I spot the first signs! He's managed to drink a cup of tea today without any help from me xx
