I hate what social media is doing to people especially women. You don’t have to spend a ton to take care of yourself mentally and emotionally. If there are things you enjoy in your own home that help you take a deep breath or smile often then do those. I also hate the “soft living” trope. These women make other women think it’s all about luxury and it doesn’t have to be.

Exactly. The most effective forms of self care cost $0 and the benefits can be everlasting. Cheers to high level self care🙌🏾

Great message! Although I do spend money for the exterior self care, internal self care is the best. Taking vitamins, cooking healthy food / smoothie, jazz playing in the background, lots of sunshine and a candle gives me joy. Working out or a relaxing bath🙌lastly decorating my home has become a self-care obsession❤

I'm so glad you spoke on this believe it or not something as simple as washing my hair lighting a candle and getting organized is a form of self care that I practice a lot laying in my bed watching KZbin. Reading a book. Listen to your body ladies and get off those fake apps where everything looks perfect 🥰

Yes, it always the simple things for me too. I love a home cooked meal, clean home and a candle lit. Maybe a movie or curled up with my journal and a snack. Ahhh! The little things.

What a great message! Your right, Self Care will look different for all of us, it could be something as simple as turning down an invite to stay home and relax. I love the new Nathan James pieces! and you made that assembly look easy 😉
