I know this is totally off-topic, but I had to share haha. My boyfriend didn’t even have a special occasion, but I read somewhere that most men get their first flowers at their funeral, and that hit me hard. So, I got him a lego-style flower bouquet. We spent the night building it together, and it was such a fun and sweet time! I feel like an ad for them, lol, but it honestly brought us closer. My boyfriend was so happy with it, and it was super cute

Janae, another thing you can do for his curly hair instead of putting a head wrap on, just put a lightweight leave-in conditioner on his hair before going to bed. Put the leave-in conditioner on his head and brush it as if you’re going to put his hair in a ponytail (but no ponytail). When he wakes up in the morning, his hair will be soft with no tangles. I have two sons and both of them have very curly hair and I did this when they were little and it worked very well. Plus, their hair became even more healthier than what it was when I first started applying it.💕💕

DETANGLE AS YOU GO. I had to learn this the hard way too. Each braid you undo, go ahead and comb it out with a rat tail comb.

With braids you have to make sure to comb 🪮 out all the tangles BEFORE putting any water on your hair. I normally do lot’s of conditioner and oil to detangle

With any protective style that’s been braided for a while, thoroughly detangling your hair with a conditioner and water spray bottle is a must after taking it down to prevent matting. Glad you got to detangle it without cutting.

Our hair sheds over 100 hairs a day so think how much shedded hair is locked inside of your braids? 🤔 a lot. I tell my clients make sure to thoroughly detangle soon as they remove their braids.

Aww I love the baby content too. I have 2 boys *3 & 21 months) my 1 year old reminds me of Priest. lol I love buying my boys clothes from Zara (we picked up some of the same items) and H&M. We got that vocabulary toy too. But girl he was not interested in thing. lol we got him learn & laugh (fisher price) activity table which he loves! Congratulations on your vlogging/youtube success!!

Your hair looks nice. Can you go over the hair products you used and the flat iron. South Florida gets cold February and March. Temps have been in the 50's. In ref to apt. You can sell things online you no longer want to help declutter.

Why not get a bigger apartment in the same building since you love the area, and it’s probably the same aesthetic you can still get the furniture you want as an upgrade? Also baby priest can also have his own room/play room if he’s still going to sleep with you or it could be your office space too I guess.

My hair got tangled to after braids one time too. You definitely have to comb your hair out really good before you wash. Otherwise you hair will mat up every time!!!!

Your hair 😩 the key is to detangle your hair after you take the braids out before you wash it. I think it gets matted from the mixture of the braiding hair & weave with your real hair. This has happened to me before 😭
