It’s your channel you should feel comfortable posting your views on here, and you shouldn’t care about the backlash if you feel very adamant on everything that’s happening. That’s valid. I also think that people should be able to breathe once in a while. The people in the coffee shop you mentioned could’ve been at another rally a different day or maybe been very active in their social media’s so I don’t think it’s fair to call them out because they were just chilling in Starbucks and probably wanting some quiet. People deserve that even in the climate of the world right now. If they had asked you guys to leave or turned you away then that’s different

Yea for sure I 100% agree with you that people should be allowed to take a breather in situations like this! In this case people’s reactions rubbed me the wrong way because they were inside a Starbucks and we were telling them that we’re trying to boycott as a collective because Starbucks is a major funder of weaponry that is k*ll*ng thousands and the more people that join in the more lives we can save but they just rolled their eyes and continued drinking their drinks. It felt like a slap in the face considering they stayed and continued to buy after we explained even though there was another cafe next to it to choose from

(i am catching up on content so i'm sorry if this sounds "late") i vividly remember when michael brown was murdered and how that shifted my entire life. i was 17 and that set me in a career path of international relations, i made friends in rallies, i became aware of so much more injustice in the world. and watching you get angry and vocal about this issue reminded me of myself at 17. just always make sure to take care of yourself. i burnt out completely at 22 and ended up quitting my career, deleting my social media and stopped watching the news because it would keep me awake at night thinking of how small i felt compared to everything i wanted to change in the world. if you ever need to, take a breather. you will always be a better ally if you're well first ♡ sending love!!

The main reason why people are not constantly talking about what’s going on it’s because the Internet can be kind of an escape so imagine if you’re someone who let their country because of the war and you don’t wanna see it you don’t wanna talk about it you don’t wanna acknowledge it, but that you’re getting on TikTok and people are constantly talking about it. I bet that would be kind of frustrating and upsetting and the Internet is also supposed to be escape for some people so I get that you’re like frustrated that everybody is like not as concerned as you are but you also have to understand sometimes ignorance really is bliss and it’s better off for some people just to be living life other than being put down by the weight that there’s somethings so devastating happening back at home
