@@arcticz6457 While im not as hyperbolic, the UB sets do feel more like classic Magic worlds, no weird gimmick which can be fun from time to time, I am not seeing the same 5 planes walkers in every single world, I am shown snapshots and characters from these deep and complex worlds and I have fun, I cant say im interested in racecar set

I hope this works out. This video and that common land cycle suggest to me that, design-wise, Vehicles may be more trouble than they're worth if made the theme of a set.

Awful set all around. The cards, the lore, the mechanics. Flavorfail galore! There is no way to track whether you used the exhaust or not. The speed is yet another uninteractable type of mechanic like energy which is supposed to be "a lesson learned". This is an enourmous step back from Duskmourne and Bloomburrow. I will pretend this set doesnt exist and wait for Tarkir.

Ok the chrome mox is pretty nice looking. I actually really like that design. I don’t play it as much as I used to in commander 1v1 because it just doesn’t make sense, especially after a mulligan. Mana crypt was good sometimes, but for whatever reason some of these ppl think the card hurts commander. As far as this set goes though, initially I was butt hurt, but it may actually be a good set. I may make another cube with this set and something like kaledesh or energy and vehicles.

Start your engine is so cool! I love how it makes cards more powerful latter in the game with no way of cheating on the cost. Bit disappointed cards only care about max speed though and it won't be returning but I'm still excited.

Personally, I really like start your engines (except for the mildly clunky name). Racing to get to max speed is a fun minigame, and it feels a bit better knowing there will also be cards in the set that scale based on your current speed. Exhaust is fine, nothing exciting but it seems like a solid deciduous mechanic and the pun is cute.

The velocity mechanic sounds pretty fun for a limited environment. It builds a sense of progression and helps to create a flavorful environment where You are in a race against your opponent to see who gets there faster. I just hope that it doesnt tip the scale too much towards aggro

Why is the Boros faction stupid humans???? It needed to be dwarves!!!! Dwarf deck builders were the only ones who were keeping vehicles alive, and you go and punch us in the gut like that??!!! Know your audience! Kolodin would have been perfect as a dwarf...For a company that emphasizes inclusivity, they sure seem to be bias against dwarfs. Short Lives Matter Too...Wizards!!!
