the "exclusive" deck box in the nightmare bundle is just paper? come on dudes. for that price at least make it cheap plastic like the ultra pro stuff. and what the hell is up with the nightmare bundle not having an actual card storage box? you all are really cheaping out for the premium prices you expect us to pay.

Completely agree. Cancelled my pre-order when I saw how cheap the deckbox looked. I thought the TV was going to be a card storage box.. really lame and cheap.. Do better Wizards!

I think you sold me on cancelling my preorder of a nightmare bundle. I was expecting the TV box to be something I could reuse (like old bundle boxes) but it is pretty obvious it will fall apart quickly.

TBF the regular bundle boxes are really useful and are part of what makes the whole package attractive. Seeing this version and thinking it would include a nifty moving tv screen was quite exciting. It’s a shame the box is flimsy - the past few sets with the foil/ shiny box with the collector bundle (MH3/ Ixalan etc) show that something more substantial has been possible in the past. Not the end of the world though, as you say the contents, dice and special cards make it a good open all the same..

Yall really did drop the bag on the nightmare bundle. You couldn't even be bothered to make it a normal bundle box or a plastic deck box.

this really took the wind out of my sails on the Nightmare Bundle. flimsy packaging, a paper deckbox (unusable), a bunch of half-size posters, and only a random chance at a third of the bundle-specific cards. 2 collector boosters doesn’t really make up for all of the “cool factor” pieces of the product being so low quality.

I just cancelled my nightmare bundle preorder. Might as well just get a play booster box at that price. If the box was the same build as the regular bundles I would have gotten it but this is disposable garbage and the VHS thing wont even fit sleeved cards. Looks cool, but not paying like $30 for some disposable packaging

I love how each bundle release has been scaling back the product in some way. They removed the set guide booklet, increased the prices of bundles, increased prices of bundles again because of play boosters, removed the inner cardboard compartment, and now they've completely removed the storage box that came with every single bundle that has been released beforehand, despite this being a premium version. Could've at least made the VHS storage box out of thick cardboard, but gave us nothing but a pile of disposable materials. Thanks for saving me the $80. I'm literally paying an extra ~$16 for 3 creased paper posters, a d20, a paper deck box that can't be used for EDH, and 2 random cards.

And one more thing - why not include every token of the set in a bundle, and in the pre-release box? Tokens are game-peaces, they should not be a chase-after-peaces. Instead of 40 lands, now we have 30 lands in a bundle - why not 10 double-sided tokens as well?

It will never get fixed. There are so few print shops in the world that can handle the quantity and complexity of what Wizards want to print, that printers can have poor quality control and WotC will still buy from them out of necessity.

Nightmare Bundle was on pre-order since 4.7.2024, and sold out on 7.7.2024. Good lucking buying one in Europe. Pre-sale price was 66€, and i have seen scalpers re-selling it for 90€ or more.
