The "totally platonic" thing is a verse from the song "Little Miss Perfect" that Joriah Kwame wrote for a suicide prevention event and the Owl House fandom highjacked it. (There are literaly scenes based on verses of that song in the show.) This inspired Joriah to make another song called "Ordinary", which is even better than "Little Miss Perfect". Both were already turned into animatics. You might want to give them a look.

Little Miss Perfect was actually Courtney Crimsen’s song from 13 Reasons Why Hence the adoption, student council (which we know Hexide didn’t have) and the sleepover As much as I loved ThatOneDorkThatDraws animatic and the following Owl House fan musical I feel if Joriah had made a fan musical of 13 Reasons Why he would’ve done it much better than the series would have Which is a real shame since it could’ve done so much for suicide prevention and mental health issues in general

Did you know that the “it’s totally platonic” from EdDaWiz is actually a reference to the song Little Miss Perfect. When only season 1 was there, people linked this song to Amity’s character, and there are many animatics of her and the song. It was said to be Amity’s anthem. And then later on, an anthem for Luz came too. It was called original and there’s also an animatic for that. The two songs have some lines that are the same which binds them together even more. Definitely check it out. It was a big thing early on in the show!!!

I like watching reactions because I'm from Mexico so The owl house translation takes quite a while either Sub or Dub and a lot of my friends don't speak english(Nor use a VPN for the official Disney+ content not available in the country) And even then, their interests are just no the same and while some of them have watched the show through the dubbed Spanish Version so far ( Not saying the Voice actors are bad but theres just something about the original that conveys so much more and also makes it way funnier since a lot of Puns cannot be translated to spanish and still sync with the video) and their opinion was just "meh. Its ok". So it feels really validating when someone gets as excited about something I'm excited about and you get to see the comments in those videos too. It's just a sense of Community and most of these reactors are plain just funny/wholesome.

Same. Yeah, it's awesome hearing the bits of Spanish on the show, but that is completely lost in the dub. I imagine they haven't dubbed season 3, I wonder how they'll handle the 'Duolingo' scene.

It’s like you came to know them and their videos for quite some time, but now having them be seen by others like them in the form of a video reaction like this? There’s also puppet reviews stuff. And with that name it means he is a puppet he is a puppet reactor. He a very snarky and sarcastic reactor. He’s pretty rude and mean but that’s really just his puppet characters personality, it’s a whole thing. So don’t take what he says so seriously. And if you’re OK with some cruel humor then I think he would be a great reactor to watch for the series. He’s got a A lot of great moments especially during Lumity moments and just season 2 as a whole. I highly recommend.

I watch reactions to my favourite shows as an excuse to rewatch the episodes a bunch of times and absorb all the details, and to get other people's perspective/reactions on scenes. I definitely find it fun and relatable when people freak out in their reaction videos, but I really prefer the emotional discussions and insight.

This was interesting. Of these reactors the only one that I actually watch regularly is Darqui, as his reaction is still in progress so I can keep up with it as he puts them out, though I've at least seen the rest react to Edge of the World (watching reactions to big reveals is quite fun, whether or not they predicted it). His reactions are pretty interesting, he often stops to analyze things as he watches and he's gotten some stuff spot-on from not much information, like figuring out Amity's entire deal just from episode 3. Though he's also missed and misinterpreted some things, as well - I don't think he's caught on to the fact that King is a child yet, or at least not that he's younger than Luz.

An occasional Reacting to Reactors video would be great. Both Morgan and Elijah have already done She-Ra, and Darqui is well into the last season of that (so he'll be done by the time you might want to do an RtR for that show). Letts React is another channel you might want to pick up for these (its two people, now engaged, and they have more of a watch-pause-and-analyze flow to their shows than the no-holds-barred, check-your-earphone-volume reactions of Elijah and Morgan, but they still have plenty of photogenic reactions (like the Choosy Hat scene in Owl House on Luz's first day at Hexside).
