Maybe I'm reading into things too much but it annoys me that the dog makes out like he's head of the family and "his lot" as he says rush about in the morning for breakfast and its a "big old deal" to them, but not too him, as he just casually gets up not a care in the world, but then at the end he soon pipes up and joins them with his " get it down you boy" So to me he's a walking talking contradiction.
