If some of you don't remember, Ill tell you this. This song is what made Weezer become mainstream. The music video to Buddy Holly was released on every copy of Microsoft Windows 95. Sadly the computers we had back then could barely play video as it took a while to buffer it before it played. Also, some of you say it sounds off from the studio version. Well when they've played it at every concert since it was written, I guess the "wow" factor has been diminished. I love the song for what it is. Reminds me of when I was 13 all over again. Good times!

i agree. fun fact, on their original demos referred to as the kitchen sink demos his voice was even raspier than this. he was told to clean it up due to the fact that it sounded to kurt “cobainy “. which i ultimately think worked in the bands favor. though i think i prefer this version of the song.

Michael Moore Agreed! I think he sounds GREAT in this, and I think he's actually one of the best singers in rock music. Other people in the comments are being picky and acting like he's trying out for American Idol. Rock music is about imperfection, which is why Pinkerton is one of my favorite albums of all time, messy and loud. Weezer is great! =w=
