I can't believe this happens inside me since ever. Its incredible how complexe we are!

Totally. I believe in evolution, but how stuff like this just “evolved” seems unbelievable.

@Karl it all started billions of years ago, when a bacteria acumulated some mutations to use the energy of glucose, then a bigger cell absorbed it without digesting. Since this unique moment in earth's history, the bacteria is evolving better and better ways to use the glucose more efficiently without worrying about surviving on its own.

I would love to see a "making of" video about how these incredible and inspiring animations are put together, how long it takes, all the people involved.
This should have WAY more views and WAY more likes.

with only 4k views it's telling me that not enough biology students know about this amazing organisation.

After having suuscribed to this channel, i have an even more higher appreciation level for the process called life in living cells.

I would to see an animation on how exactly ATP drives all processes in our body. How precisely is the chemical energy of ATP converted into kinetic and/or thermal energy?

I love these animations, this channel is amazing! My only note is that glycolysis occurs in the cytosol, with the resultant carbons entering the mitochondrial TCA cycle only after pyruvate is converted to acetyl-CoA.
@griffing25232 ай бұрын
My mistake, the intro doesn't explicitly say glycolysis occurs in the mitochondria (rather that the priming phase relies on ATP which primarily comes from the mitochondria) and that's excellent. But, still the implication that glycolysis happens "on" mitochondria could be a source of confusion. Anywho again, your animations are an incredible synthesis of science education and art. :)

Don't know what happened to people, they watch useless things on KZbin and good content things do not get views, likes and attention. Lots of love to this channel keep growing💕

I love your animations. I'd love to take an online course on the whole process of making such an animation.

To anyone who would argue we are an "intelligent design" I would ask them why the process of converting food is so complex. If god was all powerful he could have made physics where cells could convert glucose directly into ATP using a single enzyme. We also wouldn't have blind spots or a laryngeal nerve that goes from the brain, weaves between a heart valve, and makes a round trip back to the throat, but that's a whole other can of worms.

If God is all powerful, this might have been the simplest idea he could come up with in a finite time when he begun creation. For an eternal being, fiddling with time sensitive stuff might be a bit of a challenge after all. Intelligent or not, molecular biology remains a very fascinating subject

At 5:35, the screen shows 4 ATPs but the voice says 2 ATPs. It should display 2 ATPs instead. But overall it is a great video!
@Franceskineos3 жыл бұрын
It says “….gaining 2 ATP molecules in the process…” 4-2=2 that means that at each iteration the reaction double the ATP quantity
@regulate.artificer_g23.mdctlsk3 жыл бұрын
Yes it does generate 4 ATP, but 2 ATP were initially consumed, so the net gain overall is just 2.

Biochemistry at the molecular level, to me, is compelling evidence of intelligent design.
@maltrhythm1053 жыл бұрын
I absolutely agree - Darwin's evolution theory doesn't hold any criticism when we start talking about biochemistry at this level.
