Kyle it is great to see your dad in more shows. You guys work great as a team. I lost my dad 25 years ago. Watching you guys work together brings back memories of working on different projects with my dad. You have a great weekend, Another thing when are you going to show us another fishing trip on the channel?
@kyle_noseworthy2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Roy! Sorry you don't have your dad with you anymore. We usually have a great time working together. I would love to do a fishing video sometime soon!

Those hubs are a tremendous upgrade. I have to admit, I wasn't satisfied with how you'd painted them originally. This is night and day, as far as improvements go. Awesome to see you and your dad working together. A good father makes all the difference in a man's life. ETA: Pop's got good sense, planing those boards is another huge improvement.

The original black paint was to cover the rust until I could get some kind of covers! VERY happy with the results!

Sweet! Sadly, my channel is mostly comprised of knife guys, so the vehicle content sorta' tanks... but I'll keep doing it because I love it!

I like watching your videos. I never know what you are about to do next. I sharpen knives for myself and friends. I never charge anything for it I just like doing it and watching their reaction. It has taken me many years to develop the skills to sharpen but now that I know how, it is rewarding for me. Great job on the truck.

I enjoyed the video. Great progress on the project. I got one little tip/advice though. You really should use a torque wrench on the lug nuts and tighten in a cris cross pattern. There's a good chance they're under-torqued right now, depending on what your impact is rated for. Especially on trucks that see work, it's always a good idea to torque to the proper value. For 3/4 or 1 ton trucks it's pretty tight, probably tighter than you might think.
@inspector85722 жыл бұрын
Next time to prevent runs and get higher adherence to substrates… spray a light dusting coat let tack up which is by the time you finish dusting it’s ready for top coats then simply go back and top coat with covering pattern… this will dramatically increase your coverage, reduce runs, and create a stronger bond to substrate.

Thanks for the information! That makes perfect sense!

My first vehicle was also a Ranger, but a 1991. Friends were always quick to call shotgun, since nobody wanted to sit sideways on the foldout seats, apparently they didn't feel safe.
@kyle_noseworthy2 жыл бұрын
Haha Those little seats are pretty terrible! 89-92 brought the best Ranger generation!

You are putting that rusty center plate back on top of SS?
@psdaengr9112 жыл бұрын
At 23:27 that steel lug plate and the mating surface are rusting. Rust is the enemy. They should be cleaned and brushed with Fluid Film or something like it. Also never saw the lug nuts torqued.
