That's like when you are back packing. You are looking at the few feet in front of you most of the time. That's all you concern yourself with the next few steps that's it. Of course you will stop now and again to admire the view! But if you were looking at the top of the mountain the whole time, you might not be able to go the distance. It seems insurmountable. That's what I always do. I'm looking at and planning for weeks, months down the line. What I could accomplish. It's very discouraging and gets you nowhere.

I just started another weight loss journey. At the end 2018 I began one and succeeded. I went from size XXL to a M by summer of 2020. Then I got comfy with just a little bit of this and that and well now I gained back close to 40 pounds out of 80 I had lost. I started Intermittent Fasting just a few weeks ago but just started tracking CICO this week. I was not in the deficit I thought I was in. But I do notice that a lot of my always thinking about food has quieted considerably. I am trying to also practice the Japanese habit of Hara hachi bu (Eat until you're 80% full) as well. Thanks for the encouragement videos!!
