I love the simplicity of one starch, one veggie and then some beans. A good splash of vinegar and soy sauce and some garlic powder. Just delicious

I would recommend you stop taking these vitamins. The late Dr Mcdougall (so sad he's gone 😢) said supplements are toxic. The only thing we should be taking is B12.

Not boring at all! When you quit eating processed crap and animals your taste buds gradually change back to how they should be and clean, Whole Foods like vegetables, grains, beans and fruit tastes amazing. I eat a huge salad every morning and it is the most enjoyable meal. Keep up the inspiration! 👍🩵

I'd love to know how long you cook lentils in your rice cooker. Also if you do a different cooking time for brown lentils and red lentils. I like this idea.

I grew up in Italy eating lovely food and sometimes I still fantasise about it. But that food was not vegan, and I'm an ethical vegan. Slipping up is just not worth it, and there's always the worry the floodgates will open. I love being slim and healthy, nothing is worth jeopardising this, not even reproducing my lovely grandma's dishes. I love my WFPB food and I treasure my memories of my nonna's cooking, but they will remain memories. I am making new memories with delicious plant food dishes, and there's so much to choose from, I'm never bored.
@melissaalexandria019 күн бұрын
Thank you for sharing. I know nothing beats Nonna’s cooking, but it would be cool to try to vegan-ize some of the traditional recipes. ❤️🥗

Wonderful to have you back on YT, I hope your little one is happy and well. My mottos: "Just do it", or even better, "Do it now" and "Be ready" (with ingredients, meal-prep, batch-cooking) and absolutely no junk in the house. I also used to have a sticker on the fridge saying, "It's your choice" - we all have to take responsibility, at the end of the day nobody is forcing us to eat unhealthy/fattening food, it's up to us. If you don't buy it, you cannot eat it. Over time I learnt to separate feelings from feeding without even trying, it happened naturally (I used to be a binge-eater for decades, and only overcame this by becoming WFPB). There is no such thing as comfort eating - more like discomfort eating - if you eat food that makes you fat and ashamed. Think of how you'll feel just after eating junk, or even while you're eating it. Be kind to yourself by eating food that helps you get healthy and slim.
