Hey sis! Of course! ❤ since you've had a walking pad + standing desk for awhile but haven't used it, I encourage you to get yourself set up with a goal with your step count (not too ambitious to start) - or a time goal if you don't have a step tracker. Once you start beating your goal every day, you might naturally want to increase it a bit and you will find it becomes a habit to do more walking each day. I purchased my first walking pad November of 2023 but didn't really start using it consistently until January of this year, so I feel you!

Well I eat plant based. No meat, cheese, breads, tortillas. Just fruit, veggies, and beans with tons of water. I’ve lost 21 lbs so far.

How long does it take you to walk 20,000 steps? It seems like you have to have a lot of time and not much other responsibilities. I don’t mean that to be funny. I truly don’t. I’m just interested if you just walk or run too!

For 20k, it depends on if I incorporate jogging, but usually around 3 hours combined but I've been breaking it up throughout the day. I have a walking pad (that I use with my standing desk) on work days and I usually work from home 4 out of 5 days per week, so hitting 20,000 steps each day on my telework days actually isn't too challenging I'm finding. On my in-office day, I typically wake up at 4AM to get going on my steps, but I filmed most of this on a Saturday when I didn't have anything planned.

Hubby and I walk and we can easily get 10,000 steps together but our schedules are so busy. But you have me some ideas. I gotta get this together! Thank you very much for explaining!

@@thisgirlisfancyI guarantee if you put your phone down and delete social media you’d suddenly find a lot more time. Wake up an hour earlier than you normally do because you choose to. If your priority is working out or walking you can choose to make it one. It’s all about choices

I work mostly remote and have a walking pad, so I walk a lot while working if I’m not on a call. That usually gets me 60-70% there. I don’t do 20k all the time, this is just a ten day period I am challenging myself to.

I walk 30 min before I go to work. I recently purchased a rebounder and with that…amazing I can clear 4000 steps in 30 min. I just watch a free rebounding video on you tube.
