On World of Warships: Legends, Weimar is a contraversal ship. They released it at tier 6 (legends doesnt have any of the tier 1's that PC has, so we have less tiers) with a 5 second base reload, so it had more DPM than Mainz a tier lower. Since they released it before they were allowed to nerf premiums, they moved the ship up a tier to tier 7, the equivalent tier to 8 on PC. The only thing they gave it was a repair party. So now the ship is in a weird spot.

Yeah, test Weimar on PC also had 5s reload. That got nerfed pretty fast.

You know, I kind of have to wonder. With the Weimar being T7, why is the Munchen also T7? Weimar has 12 guns to Munchen's 8. It gets the 60-caliber guns to the Munchen's 55-caliber guns. It gets better dispersion and better AP damage. Weimar has a slower rudder shift but a tighter turning circle. Weimar has less range but gets an improved spotter that boosts it's range to well over the Munchen's, so it actually gets more range. Weimar is slower than Munchen but gets an engine boost so it's faster than the Munchen, too.. They have the same torpedoes but Weimar gets more of them. 4x3 to Munchen's 2x4. Weimar also gets much better AA, for what it's worth. The ONLY advantage Munchen has is it's stealth. It has the rate of fire advantage but with much more floaty shells with worse dispersion and less AP damage, ontop of only having 8 guns to Weimar's 12... How are these two ships the same tier?

It's Russian Server. Totally different game from the rest of the world. It's LESTA that owns it in Russia. WG sold it when they left Russia when they attacked Ukraine

OK, got this ship in a random container and was really disapointed until I learned to appreciate her finer qualities and now, depite all the nay-sayers claiming she's "OP" or "broken" I can 100% confirm she is merely BALANCED. So shut up before WG take the cries of the unwashed as truth and spoil her! Just to show there is balance (in life if not WoWS) my next container ship was Yukon....aaarghhhh. Probably the biggest POS in any tech line. In fact there's no "probable" about it.....only reason I've kept it is so I can't "win" it in another container.
