@@JenFulwiler I REALLY need others' help to make a full list, but one of the first that came to mind was the other day... 1) When you're supposed to be getting ready for work but you get sidetracked by an online debate about the Pope's latest encyclical, so you make yourself late..., 2) you're part of a covenant community, confraternity, and/or consecrated to multiple saints, 3) you don't eat meat on Fridays, 4) for women - you wear a veil to Mass and to walk into the church, 5) your memento mori practice rivals that of so-called goths.... I don't know. Fellow weird Catholics, help me out please :D :D :D

Just came here to say I’m glad I’m not the only one whose husband has a banana suit that is worn at times other than Halloween. When we were in college and active at our campus Newman center, he would periodically don it while sprinting around and pelting one of his best friends with a pillow 😂 Funnier yet was the fact that the banana suit incidents made it into BOTH our wedding homily (given by our college chaplain) AND the best man speech. 🤣 PS: I totally feel ya on your comments about small town life...all accurate assessments!

I think you nailed it on the head. I do feel more anxious about people usurping the system than the results of elections, how the Supreme Court nominations go, etc. Sadly, it seems like that is really the goal of many in power right now. ☹️

Not your generation, so I have some trouble with your flippant comments & humor at times... but overall I agree. By job definition Supreme Court justices are not supposed to legislate from the bench, and their religious and political association is not supposed to enter into their decisions.
