02:16 This kind of "fun" costed several lives in Russia not so long ago (I'm not Russian btw). One can't breathe CO2. "Dry ice" thrown into a pool turns into an enormous volume of gas (much bigger than is seen in form of liquefied steam from the air). If the water level is below pool walls, the CO2 will stay there forever, but even here, before it is dispelled, people in or near the pool may suffocate (the author mentioned this but maybe it will be good to know that the danger is very real).
@koriw17012 жыл бұрын
I was just about to comment the same thing. The author did *not* mention the extreme hazard to those standing in close proximity to the "experiment." Those children standing right next to the pool (being only as tall *as* the pool) were within a hair's breadth of strangling on the CO2 that was emanating from it since the water level was full (at the pool's rim). Scientists here would never perform this "party trick" without using breathing masks.
@zl80182 жыл бұрын
@@koriw1701 And of course it would need to be a mask with its own source of air/oxygen, not just a filtration mask. I'm writing this "just in case". BTW transporting dry ice in a car may be dangerous as well.

@@manbunmyname5866 True, but who can tell for sure when it's time to run. Suffocating with CO2 is painless and when you loose your consciousness it's to late. I've seen a documentary about a lake in Africa, which produces CO2. A bird landed near it, fainted and remained there forever.

Four guys hit a big Brama Bull with bamboo poles to make it go home . It charged them , and flipped some of them in the air , butting them . They diserved it . I was sent with them with a halter . I just stood there , like a mail box , it zig-zagged around me . After the men were all chased away , I shook the halter . He ran over , so I could put it on . I said " I wont let them hurt you . I did know about the bull's not attacking you if you don't move. When my mother was young, she and her mother unexpectedly found that the bull was in the wrong pasture after they were in the middle of that field. My grandmother told her not to run, face the bull, and slowly, very slowly start walking sideways until they got to the fence to get out of that pasture. Her Uncle mentioned something about bulls having bad eyesight. Mind you under the circumstances, we never bothered to research whether that was a fact or not, since his advice worked.
@DivineBearFalcon2 жыл бұрын
I was once at the local dairy farm in Holland with my two kids, they had a inseminating bull in a small fenced in outdoor field, I certainly would not test this with him. I felt he would attack anything that he could take/think as a barrier to the cows, he certainly did with the fence. I did not feel safe with just once fence between my kids and him, we exited on bicycles and came back another day. Best to err on the side of discretion, especially with kids in tow.

@landonletterman8312 жыл бұрын
Bears, and predators, are the same way. Same with bulls, who figure they have you on the run so best to keep you going as they try to run you down and stomp you to death. With predators, it's a flight response which means you're food, and worth chasing. Food runs, serious threats are frightened (or excited) but in control and will face an attacker. Stand firm, and don't trigger the chase response. Throw your arms up, and make yourself look larger, crap like that. If you have an incline within close proximity, running steeper than 45° for at least 75 ft, you can run down the hill, grab something about 10 feet down (tree, sapling) to stop you and sling you to the side, then start working your way back to the top of the hill while the bear is to heavy to stop itself. Get to the top, and head for shelter Don't climb trees, and don't actually try to fight the bear, unless you have a 4 ft sharpened tree branch. Let it barrel down on you, and angle the sharp end towards the bear's neck _(THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED!!!_ Weapons of last resort, being what they are, you're unlucky enough to encounter a bear, I doubt you're lucky enough to pull this off on the fly without getting injured, or worse!). Honestly, if the bear is clever enough, act like you're sick and he'll probably leave you alone to not catch your "sickness." I'd imagine that's what would run through a bears mind if you saw one running you down, and suddenly opened your arms for a hug and grinned real big. Bear would think, "Ok, that's not right, what do you know that I don't, or what the eff is wrong with you and maybe I shouldn't eat you because of it...."
@landonletterman8312 жыл бұрын
@@gothgirl4evr881 I once held my hand out for a gigantic, scared Rottweiler who doesn't like strangers. He came in like he was going to sniff and suddenly went to bite. I didn't flinch and, in fact, forced myself to get excited (thought real heavy on winning the lottery/a dream vacation on a game show). Also, I'm not afraid to get dog bit, and he can't get a hold of me without, likewise, me getting a hold on him. Anyway, the dog suddenly panicked when he smelled the opposite of fear and snapped air 3 times, faster than I've ever seen a dog move, then ran away perturbed, barking at me from a distance. Anytime I come around him, he tries to heard bite me from behind, but I can hear him coming so I'll bend over as fast as I can to grin at him real big, upside down between my knees. Dog jumped 3 feet in the air and fell over on his side the first time I did it, lmao _He doesn't like me,_ but also knows better than to make the first move! Edit: For the record, the dog has bit me, but that was because the first time he let me pet him I stroked his neck with a finger while petting his head and he suddenly bit me like, *"NO KILL SHOT FOR YOU!"* A dog letting you pet his stomach is a sign of absolute trust, or a dog that lacks animal instinct to know not to let a potential threat near your soft meats!

Not to mention they used a weed whacker on something that a lawn mower is made to cut. Weed whackers are for hard to reach places and to finish up edges, not cut a large aria of grass. That’s the purpose of a lawn mower. Not to mention they used the world’s smallest chainsaw, that looks to be good for cutting small branches off trees, against a large saw. There’s a reason they make lawn mowers and bigger chain saws

Those people piling into that car reminded me of the fad that was going around when I was a kid, back in the days of the dinosaurs. That was back in the days when we still had phone booths (we had to have a place for Superman to change clothes so he could morph from a person to a superpower!) and the thing was to see how many people could crowd into a phone booth. Another common contest was to see how many people could crowd into a Volkswagen Beatle. It seems to me that more people could fit into a Volkswagen than a phone booth but according to Wikipedia, the record number of people in a phone booth was 25 and the winning number in a VW Bug was 20.

@@_Jitesh_ OK, from what you're saying it's obvious you do not understand what is being done. What you have done with the plastic bottle is reduce the pressure inside of it by *a)* sealing up the volume of air inside of it and then *b)* reducing the pressure of that air by cooling it. You could just as easily reduced that air pressure by putting the bottle opening up to your mouth and sucked as hard as you can. Either way, the bottle collapses due to a difference in *pressure* .... NOT due to a change in temperature, as the narrator clearly got wrong. Go back and listen. (Too bad you haven't learned anything since those 'school days'.) Chain saw video demonstrating the absolute necessity for sharpened chains. I cut 10 cords of wood every summer to make it through the winter by heating the house with two wood inserts. I receive the logging truck which dumped off 12 to 14 de-limbed Douglas fir trees and with a 24" chain saw would divide the trees into 16 inch wheels which later I would have to divide further with a splitting maul. The whole project took up my entire summer mostly because I was a teenager who needed to still be a teenager. But after sawing through, two trees worth of wood I had a handy chain saw blade Jig that seamlessly aligned my file with each individual tooth on the Chain. It was I credibly fast and accurate making the next tree to be divided feel like a knife through butter..... Okay.... Frozen butter... But still.... Very smooth. I can't imagine how long it would have taken without that sharpener

A chocolate bar will depend of how hot it is. If you eat in a very cold temperature hundreds of thousands and in a very very hot day less than 100 and if it is too cold infinite because it will not melt with the lick enougth so that one person alone can do this on their lifetime
