good work again Alan Why has it got locks on the door when the frame can be easily unscrewed? or am i missing something Steve UK
@handymanjourney5 жыл бұрын
Hey Steve! Thanks for the comment! The frame of the door is held on with non-reversible bolts. so if someone really wanted to get in they could but they would have to grind off the heads or use vise grips to back off the bolts
@ollypolly185 жыл бұрын

It isnt peoples need to complain about something. We all watch the videos because we enjoy them and/or learn something. The viewers are pointing out 1 particular word that is in fact irking just like some people hate the word "moist".

Yes, WLOG is annoying to hear. The only reason I can tolerate hearing it is because you like it so much. VLOG stands for a video log, as you know. It’s just more standard and does not bear explaining. That’s it! I enjoy the videos, and also when you mention the pricing and hours spent. I’m a handyman going on a year and still am working out my pricing.

It is unnatural to say as you have to add an "a" sound where there is none.

@RonzoniP5 жыл бұрын
About the WLOG thing: my guess is VLOG is short for video log and is shortened to (depending on how you say it) one syllable. WLOG (woo log) is 2 syllables, the same as "work log" so it's not shortening anything unless you make the "W" silent or blend it with the "L." Also, it sounds like a foreign language--haha. I personally think it's a funny word. It just has a funny ring to it, but who cares. It's your thing man.
@joen25665 жыл бұрын

Allen, WLOG is no worse than BLOG. there will always be complainers. there is a removal tool for those one-way bolts. big box stores should have them, or Amazon of course. ever have an issue with the steel screen security doors handle and/or dead bolt interfering with the entry door handle/dead bolt ? btw, what the heck busy street was that ? couldn't live there, it would drive me crazy.
@jasonc23345 жыл бұрын
Hi Norm. Good question about the door handles on the security doors hitting. One solution I found is merely switching the deadbolt to the bottom position on the security door. Now they are inverted from those on the entry door and they have space.
@normhodgkinson69655 жыл бұрын
@@jasonc2334 yes, i had to do it that way a couple of times. it depends on door frame thickness and/or trim thickness.
