Which is him being supportive of Sonic? @@Shadamyfan-rs8xc When I mentioned Sonic Generations, I was referring to when he said "Back for more, Sonic? Guess you never learn your lesson". Also I disagree with the Twitter Takeover being fine. All he is in that is "I like the anime with the girl with the scissorblades" and "My favorite food is coffee beans". Shadow was a good character in SA2, Heroes, and 06 but other than that, why bring up mainline Sonic games in general? He didn't have a single good line in Forces. The only thing I remember him doing in that game was calling Infinite "Pathetic" and Kicking a phantom copy. Also, what do you mean by "generalizing his lines"? What clever line has he had since 06? What deep thought-provoking moment has he had? I think he mentioned Maria like a few times in the Twitter takeovers but I don't think that counts. Shadow can be a good character without Maria and the Ark. He WAS a good character even without Maria and the Ark. Please by all means, tell me a good line or moment that he had since the mid 2000's. There is one I can think of in Sonic Twitter Takeover when he talks about the moment when Sonic reached for him before he fell. But that's less a compelling line and more of a verbal flashback. But again, name a good line/moment since the mid 2000s. I'll wait.

@@speedleo29 I think the "back for more" line is because it's a BOSS BATTLE! and the point of Sonic generations is going through sonics past. And what exactly is wrong with him liking kill la kill and coffee beans? Eggman apparently likes Tokyo ghoul, and no one complained about that. Also, this moment in the latest Twitter takeover, where he said that Sonic tried to reach out to save him from falling in SA2, but he brushed him away because he knew he'd take Sonic with him, but he still respected Sonic for trying to save him. You wouldn't see boom shadow say that, now would you?

In an interview with Shinya Nishigaki, who actually directed Illbleed, Sega actually hated Zodick being in the game, but considering at the time the dreamcast had ended production and the game was most certainly not going to well in sales, they let him get away with it.

NohrPaladin Nope, hence why in my own comment I brought up the hope someone might find the pc/hard drive/dev kit that it’s saved on SF2 on the other hand is the fully completed one Nintendo went back & fixed any remaining bugs in. Illbleed OG Xbox was only 90% complete meaning it could have bugs here & there along with the possibility of the endings not being finished (hell, we don’t know if they redid the voice acting either)

The reason why Sonic appeared a lot in British shows was because Sonic and Sega was incredibly massive over there in the 90s, even more so than he was in America. The Sega Master System and Mega Drive were very popular systems and both of the Sonic bundles helped sell a great tone of those systems.

Another thing to note about the Illbleed Sonic cameo, after you beat Zodic, it is revealed (just like a lot of the other bosses in the game) that he was a robot controlled by mechanical engineers with one of them voiced by Ryan Drummond (voice of Sonic in the Dreamcast Era).

Bruh, Zodick was an awesome Sonic cameo I mean, shit... that’s actually how I knew about Illbleed (still sad we never got the OG Xbox remake... 90% before cancellation. One interesting reference to Sonic is in the videogame "Asterix and Obelix XXL2" (Based on the popular French Cartoon/ Comic series Asterix aand Oblelix.) One of the game's enemies is literally dressed up as sonic. This game also has a ton of other references to Mario, Tomb Raider, Rayman, etc.

I should say this as quite a few people don't know this but the TV show, MAD, is based on the magazine by the same name that got cancelled not too long ago by the heads over at Warner Bros/AT&T. It ran for quite a long time and it heavily focused on parodies of pop culture and pop culture icons no matter what era they came from. The magazine also was the origin for Spy VS. Spy as well which spun off from the MAD magazine. WB and Cartoon Network thought it was a good idea to turn it into a TV show later on to grab new readers for the magazine, but then it failed (and failed hard). Just thought I'd drop that info here, not a big deal or anything.

I am so happy somebody else decided to tackle that reference in illbleed. I'll tell you this, the boss fight itself is a little annoying. Mainly just because of the movement, you have to shoot him while grabbing his rings before he does, otherwise he regains the health you took off of him. Otherwise it was a pretty cool nod. It's just too bad that the game itself is so expensive. last I checked it was around $100 or $200. I haven't checked before posting this, but if anybody really likes horror games, you will love this. it's basically if you put a survival horror game with mine sweeper.

Here in Europe, we have a comic series called Asterix, and this series also has video games. In one of these video games, they parody a lot of other video game series, which included an enemy type that is based on Sonic. Nice job, LS- uh I mean SplashDash! I'd say MAD was a mixed bag (well teen me certainly liked it, recording her TV and all that :P) and some parodies worked while others, not so much. Spy VS Spy was always pretty good, and based off the comics from Mad Magazine. I was (and still am) more into MadTV, which did awesome parodies and original content. I especially agree with your opening that you're popular when people reference/parody you, whether you're famous, infamous, and regardless of if you like it or not.
