Really enjoyed this episode, so many unique slugs have traveled through TFM shotguns and you and the crew have been so gracious over the years to share with us. Speaking of the crew, it was especially awesome to see everyone together even though FB tried to hide. Still puts a smile on my face and little lump in my throat to see cameos of Danny. I just wanted to say that you guys have just been at whole other level these past couple years. It's subtle, because you've always been great, but it also is quite noticeable as a top notch product. The camera work, the selection of targets, the rounds from all these impressive creators that send you stuff, everything has just be so good. So many times I've said "That's the best shot you guys have ever filmed," and then I have to say it again a few weeks later. I think Kyle's Mach-71 is currently my favorite. Just keep doing what y'all are doing.

Great collection... It was both great and sad to see Danny on screen again, he's missed by most of us that have been fans of the channel. Our thoughts for his family are still with us. I'm sure (his family permitting) we'd all love to see a "Danny best bits" vid, but what would be even better would be a "Danny Blooper reel", I'm sure there were many during the many times he was out on the test range.

I had a very good friend, very much like Danny, who passed away under similar circumstances several years ago. It always leaves a hole in your heart. The times I watched Danny would lessen the loss just a little. Even though I didn't know him, I felt as if I did. Danny's passing left an empty spot too. I miss both.

First, my sincere condolences. He was a good friend with good friends, which says a lot about a man. Second, your point about a projectile passing through and the physics; you are so right. The ability to impart the energy of the projectile fully into the target is one of the main goals of projectile engineering. Physic is our friend. Great video.

I am a relatively new subscriber. I love the channel. I am 65 and still a kid at heart. When you load all manner of objects and say let us go and shoot strange targets, oh, and there might be fire, things exploding, devastation, or we may miss the target, I find myself saying ABSOLUTELY, let's go! ***IDEA*** IMAGINE - the Mach 71 (8m 41s), but with a bored out center - basically making a cup. Drill lateral/horizontal holes, like an X across the bottom of the 'cup' so that if you filled the cup with liquid, it would flow out the sides of the base of the cup. Then, fill the cup with lead - almost to the top, but not quite. The hydrostatic properties should push the lead out the sides of the slug, where the lateral holes were drilled. Make the 'cup' of the slug out of either brass or copper (depending on desired penetration).

Thanks especially to Jeff who's slow motion film work way back ( I can't remember how many years ago - sorry Jeff) capturing chemical reactions so captured My imagination I've been an avid viewer every since , in fact this was the first YT channel I ever subscribed too , and it was also the very first I ever posted a comment on . I am glad that we have taken time to remember Danny every once in a while. Actually pretty often. He was a big part of the channel. He will be missed and remembered. I lost my best friend to cancer as well as a grandmother and nearly my father. I was in the navy and I worked near the anchor windlass which is basically a large asbestos brake. Been having breathing issues and other health problems. In June I will find out from the VA hospital whether or not I have mesothelioma. I hope not.
