Weirdest Animations in Every Mario Game

Hey guys welcome to todays video where Im going to go over some of the weirdest animations that you can find throughout every single Super Mario Bros game in the series. In-game the 64 Lakitu works for the Kingdom News Network, but I've also heard a theory that he's documenting Mario's journey for Bowser, which might explain the Bowser laugh you hear upon losing a life.

I like this video and your style, but I’m very unsure what you’re defining as an animation, cause i can’t tell what you mean by it when very few of these are animations 🤔 Animation means something that is animated, aka some kind of movement cycle.

Probably the U.F.O. in Mario Land are there because they are probably some prototype machines made by Tatanga that got scrapped idk

I don’t think we’ll ever find out why the UFO is there. Most likely it’s supposed to be a neat little detail, but it makes you wonder if there were supposed to be more aliens in the game.

I’m sure a lot of us can give their input on what they think is the reason for each one of these oddities. But remember, each one’s just a theory; *a game theory!* 5:35 For this, Lakitu clearly was there to film the footage of the game. I guess Nintendo thought that it would be interesting to imply that somebody was filming it.

Yeah I always caught on to this even as a child. Since it’s the first game in 3-D it’s just their cute little way to show Mario in a third person view. I was surprised to hear copycat had no idea.

There is also a funny glitch you can do in Pinna Park mission 2 after unlocking Yoshi (you can probably do it somewhere else, but it seems easiest to do in this mission) if you get hurt while riding Yoshi, you can land back on him and Mario will just keep his eyes closed. (Thank you, 2CPhoenix, for this info)

I never knew that there were Toads (or in this case Toadsworths) in the background in the beginning of New Super Mario Bros. afther the lighting stroke. I thought that the pixels here are flies so I didn't pay attention to that. 😂
