For your water-brush-y thing, the paint is coming out of the "ventilation" hole by the tip of the brush. I had the same problem: stop up the holes with sticky tac or kneaded eraser. This should correct the paint flow.

Don't shake ur nail polish. Instead try rolling it between ur hands. Shaking it creates bubbles.

The bubbles also come from applying layers too fast and from having oily nail beds. I don't shake my polishes and I get bubbles because A: I'm impatient with the layers and B: I apparently have oily nailbeds, which makes nail polish sometimes just pop off as if I had a peel-off base coat on (which I never use).

Your nails are bubbly because there's air in between the layers of nail polish you can help the situation by not shaking the nail polish bottle too much before applying and NOT blowing on your nails to make them dry. You can also try tapping both the nail polish (and your nails while wet) so the bubbles come to the top and pop.

I think this is my first time discovering subscription boxes for art supplies but I don't know why I should be surprised since they exist for make-up and snacks from around the world -- art supplies make perfect sense. Hello, You might have more success with the Kuretake Memory System Wink of Luna Brush Markers if you clean them BEFORE you place the cap back on. The brush nib dry's and so the "ink" does not flow properly the next time you try to use them. I have had this problem before with other brush pens with paint reservoirs. It is a bit of a drag but the brush is not really "Broken" just kinda clogged! Good luck I really enjoy your channel lots to watch too!

The reason your nails are bubbly is because of the air bubbles in the polish itself, if you shake it before using it then air bubbles will get inside and show up on your nail, it could also be because your applying the layers too thick if their bubbles inside. Your supposed to apply single thin layers to avoid bubbles

bubbles appear in nail polish from either shaking the bottle instead of rolling it before use(which traps air bubbles in nail polish) or jamming the nail polish brush in and out a few times instead of smoothly taking it out in one motion (which also traps air bubbles in nail polish). Basically when the nail polish dries the air that you trapped in it slowly rises forming bubbles. You don't always get bubbles but often trapped air also ruins the integrity of dried nail polish so when it's dry it chips much easier. Which is why you should always roll your nail polish bottles to mix them and be careful not to jam the nail polish brush to quick or too often.

I think the bubbles appear on nail polish because the bottle was shook up and down so instead of doing that, roll it around to mix up the polish instead and that should remove some of the bubbles that are created from shaking. I really really love this box. Wink of lunar is such a pretty line of brush pens that I really want but its so hard to get here !! D:

Bubbles typically appear in lower quality polishes regardless of how they're shaken. Try Livelovepolish.com. Also, a good quality base coat helps. Never paint nails outside or near a fan. Remove oil from your nail beds before painting them by using acetone or rubbing alcohol. Good luck!

I have had this problem since i moved to the US. I have tried so many different brands, ive tried not shaking them, making sure ALL coats are bone dry before the next, rolling them, cooling them, using a base coat, no base coat, different types of base coats and top coats, doing it in the hot and cold, doing it with my nails bone dry and using acetone on my nails before putting on nail polish and NOTHING is working!!!! I firmly believe its the climate here and my nails are letting off some sort of gas or something idk, when i first paint my nails its perfect, give it a few hours and the bubbles will come, once the bubbles break the surface they turn hard and dark grey and i cant figure out what it is!!!

I had the same problem but it only happened with Rimmel London nail polish (the Rita Ora ones mostly). I thought it was the brush to be honest, it was always pretty uneven and kinda wide? The bubbles should disappear though if you have a really good and thick top coat :D hope this helps somehow, although I gave up Rimmel polishes completely because of that :))

Its not your fault it broke, ive had those before and same for me too, i noticed it was the cap gripping too much so when i take the cap off it breaks, sometimes you can snap the broken bit back into place.

I remember multi-colored pencils from school, but they were muddier than how this looks. A lot of my stuff stays in the sketch stage, and I'd love to sketch with one of those. I've got some Wink of Luna pens too, and had the same problem. The company told me I was squeezing too hard and not being patient enough. They were right. Still don't love them, cuz there's no variation in intensity. They're just super opaque and one note.

These Koh-i-noor Magic pencils are a big step up from the rainbow pencils of old. They seem to be blended much nicer and the results are brighter, less "muddy," as you mention. I have had all of the larger ones like this for many years, and I also have the 24 set of tri-color ones which are great to use, too. There is a learning curve to these pencils, but the payoff is super!

Love your video. As a nail tech. You got bubbles in your nail polish so instead of shaking it vigorously place the bottle ( cap on ) between your palms and rub / roll it between your hands. That helps prevent bubbles and such in the enamel ;) Hope that helps. So when applying the enamel dip the brush in then pull out while scraping one side to remove excess but leave the top side with the enamel and brush side side center of your nail ;) SOme do Center side side. Hope this helps!

I think your trouble with the brush pen came because you were squeezing a bit too hard. With a brush i have that's very similar I get the same problem if I squeeze it too hard. I have to do tiny little squeezes and give it a moment to let the ink come down into the brush. You can't squeeze harder to rush it. :)

I've only ended up with bubbles in my nails, one of two ways. *1)* When it's Winter and I want to do my nails, I dry them in front of my heater because my hands are too cold for the polish to properly dry. However if your hands are too close to the heater, it can cause bubbles. (I doubt this is the case for you, due to the time of year.) *2)* You need to roll the polish bottle in you hands for a couple minutes, to both warm it up and mix it. If you shake the bottle it will mix it, but it will also create bubbles in the polish. You can shake it a bit before applying it to your nails, however over shaking it will end up causing bubbles in your manicure. I hope this was helpful! *;-)*

With the whole “blue + metallic green” thing you’re right about the blue on white green on black thing, but the reason it does that is cause there are green glitters in blue ink, making it glittery blue on white paper, and green on black since you can’t see the blue ink

You get stuff “right there” because that’s where you hold you pen/pencil. Since it’s angled like that you get marks on that spot. You also have the callus there for that reason. I have the same thing on the same spot, just on my left hand instead :D

The rainbow pencil is like those scratch art things you would get as a kid that start off black but you create designs by scratching away the black to reveal the rainbow underneath, except the pencil just starts off rainbow!

Thanks for the video! Bubbles in your nails means that air bubbles have gotten trapped inside the polish. I would recommend applying thin coats of polish. Also, clean your nails with some remover to get the oils off before you paint them. Finally, try to avoid thick, old polishes. Hope this helps!

13:28 The top fins are Dorsal Fins. (there's usually 2 on a fish, but some have modified 1 long fin) The tail fin is called the "Caudal Fin", the ones on the side are called "pectoral fins cause they use the pectoral muscles. and the bottom fins which I don't think most angler fish have is called the pelvic fins.

Nail polish usually blisters from the first coats not being dry before more is applied. You can prevent that texture by painting thinner layers and allowing them to dry for a couple minutes before adding more. Kind of like acrylic paint! 💛
