Gambling on all sports is a thing. Remember jai alai? But in regards to the call: Turns out this was a playoff game that took place in New Jersey back in October. The team that benefited from the call actually ended up losing the game. The state's HS athletics authority ruled that the officials crew can still referee but no longer will be assigned to post season games.
