very 70s , I dig it. how come we don't hear this on radio ?
@rahsaanbrown8838 жыл бұрын
The name Drug Dealer won't sit well with a lot of commercial radio programmers. College radio or public radio will play it though. I've been hearing this song on KCRW a few times..
@Mack-the-Knight7 жыл бұрын
roy jurich You won’t hear it on mass media because of tempo changes, lack of millennial whooping, and other structures that are too sophisticated for the masses.
@ediecollette4306 жыл бұрын
Money to get mass radio play in America typically runs around 250k- 500k for a full PR campaign. There's no other way to get on the Billboard charts without doing that these days.
@patrickshwavy85046 жыл бұрын
Because everyone has their own tastes that change over time and this isnt the 70s so its just not "in" at the moment good music is good music the time era shouldnt be focused on just like there was good and bad music then there is good and bad music now. Focusing on the the era makes you seem full of yourself, just because you dont like what you hear on the radio you flaunt your exquisite music taste and its corny because anyone of any time period could complain about the modern state of music and say what came before was much better and that quality has declined in newer music. Also the radio has always played the worst/basic/catchiest songs so its ignorant to complain that the modern radio doesnt fit your ish.

He made some great psychedelic music as Run DMT. Specifically, the album 'Dreams' and his EP split with Happy Family. If you want trippy psychedelic with a 70's aesthetic. I'd recommend his album as Salvia Plath. If psychedelic isn't your thing, his album as Silk Rhodes has some great soul slow-burners as well as some dancier tunes, also with a 70's aesthetic.
