we only spent £30 on the pump and saved a fortune on engineer fees etc. Every day's a school day on a boat.

Hope you got a couple of pump mounts spare because the heat and any diesel on them deteriorates the rubbers and will need doing again in the future.

Well done on fixing the engine problem I wouldn’t have a clue where to start. The frame on your picture julie looks very nice and well made. Looks like the dogs were waiting for some of that food especially the cheese our dog absolutely loved cheese. Funny cause we’ve been having major engine problems too! We’ve had water in the diesel tank and we’re on the verge of blowing up our engine so thankfully a mate of ours knows what he’s doing as these supposed marine engineers seem to know very little regardless of what they say infact they caused problem! Never mind fingers crossed after this morning it should be fixed phew!! Sorry, rant over lol!! Glad your both well and look forward to seeing you up online soon x

Hi Jason, because the land is privately owned there is no two week rule like on the canals but some mooring have 24hr or two-day signs.

Mark, in regards to age and maintenance have you flushed and replaced your antifreeze? It lasts between 3 to 5 years. Whilst the antifreeze part continual s to work the anti-l corrosion elements don't causing the sink tank to corrode. It's not the nicest job in the world but has to be done. When your ready I can advise you a more simple way of doing it.
