Great video. Long enough, detailed, accurate but simple explanations all the time, references shown, step by step explanations, analogic figures created to help visualize the constructions, as many repetitions of the rules as it's necessary... Everything truly positive. I've would just liked to see more common mistakes explained, but there are a few shown in the video, anyway. So, congratulations, Wei. It's not only another video about drawing, were one can see how good is the author, but a video with which one can really learn something. Thank you so much! Carry on developing new videos, please!

NetWorks, Thank you for these tutorials! The one thing I always wished I could do was draw and sketch. I was horrible in grade school and had my brother who is a natural artist do my homework assignments. That has more than 40 years ago and although I never tried again it was always my dream. I followed your tutorial on how o draw a head and draw one while watching. I was amazed how mine turned out! It actually looks like a human head and face! I have never drawn anything that even came close to this. Not as perfect as yours but with practice I now know I can get better. You are so awesome! Thank you for teaching an old dog a new trick. Best Regards and look forward to following all your tutorials. If you have additional resources you think might be helpful, please share. Will S.

@ArtofWeiHo10 жыл бұрын
Hey crusty21, interesting request. That would be like a style guide for a character. I can't think of any tips top of my head. I would just stress the major features of a character and try to get that across to the other angles.

Art of Wei One thing I'm finding difficult is getting the "side slice" correct when I use more extreme angles. I figured out that making the quarter line (that goes perpendicular to the equator) is helpful, but that's also difficult to "see" sometimes. Any tips for getting that right Wei?
@ArtofWeiHo9 жыл бұрын
Rob Levin There's no easy trick for the slice. It's an ellipse so it's difficult to draw. Just keep drawing car wheels at different angles and you'll get it right eventually=).
