Weiye (Skyri) 17” USB Mini Ceiling Fan

This is my 6 month overview of the Weiye 17" USB ceiling fan, purchased on Amazon. It's mostly plastic but the material seems to have the right about of flex to withstand occasional impacts. I had an issue with the motor making a clicking sound, which turned out to be quite a hassle to fix. But after the repair, the fan runs good and performs as it should. The airflow is good and the motor is fairly quiet as long as it's mounted from a structure that has adequate noise absorption. It's great for indoor use but it becomes ineffective pretty much anywhere else, especially outdoors. All things considered, it's a decent portable ceiling fan.

Was thinking of putting one in a truck with a solar panel in the summer idk if it would help with the heat though

I think there are fans designed for in-car use, which may work better than this ceiling fan. Some can plug in directly into the cigarette lighter port. Or any USB fan will work if you can have the solar panel provide steady DC power. There also wouldn’t be much head room for most people if this fan was hanging from the roof of the cab. Unless you’re referring to a sleeper cab of a semi truck, which would probably have the head room, but it wouldn’t be suitable in a pickup.
