If it's a long haul flight then I can't think of any other carrier besides Air India. The leg room on their 777s and 787s is awesome. Food and service is really good too. When I mean service I'm talking about basic features of serving and clearing. Sitting on your butts and ringing the call bell for your wants is something you do at a restaurant and not on a plane, unless you're travelling J or F class.

I’ve been in the business class. The best thing is the amenity bag. It has some interesting smells and can be used as a room freshener with out the stupid plug in the wall thing that can’t put out a smell unless you get really close to it

@@ryankhja2646 Hey, The Name “Kerala” is name given to aircraft by the airline. Since Air India is governmentally owned airline - the aircrafts are named after Indian landmarks or states. Every Aircraft have different names.As such the 777-200LR feature Kerala whereas other aircraft like 777-300er features names as Punjab,Rajasthan and etc. The name is given when it is delivered to airline. In most cases it is not changed,But If airline sells its assets or leases back the aircraft, then the results might differ

Travelled Air India flight from Delhi to San Francisco on 15.06.19. The plight was horrible. It misplaced 200 luggage. I lost 2 luggage contai ing important medicine. 3 days have pseed nobody is attending phone and no information about recovery of luggage. In great trouble with health problem. Can Air Indi give any reply.

Biggest loser will LH which will now have to reconsider their Bangalore Express flight if UA or AI go double daily from BLR ....

That radio call on short final "San Francisco tower, AI 173 heavy, established ILS 28R. Request permission to land" ........is going to be echo the airwaves for a long time...... It killed one airline Ethihad, inspired one to start the same sector United (which incidentally has its biggest west coast hub in SFO still had no service for two decades), forced others to up their game (AF, BA) and made others to take notice (LH). ....all from a lounge airline Desis say sucks...... Well if one useless crap can achieve this much...i kinda at loss of adjectives and pronouns.... BTW I live in San Jose.
